I am stuck in the warden's keep somehow..

I have just killed the rage demon at the 2nd floor. When i try to open the door southeast it tells me: "not possible to pick". So i figured i missed a key or event or something. So i talked with Levi, checked the lightning wall, walked back and searched everything., even aggrod the mobbs behind the door using tempest, hoping they would open the door for me...nothing,I still can't carry on. Checked the Prima walkthrough and it reads if i should just be able to open the door without a problem..but i cant somehow,meh.

Can anyone plz tell me how i can continue? Will be much appreciated.

im sure the npc thats with you talks to you first efore the door unlocks automatically

yeah i have talked with him. About that his grandmother consorted with demons etc.. But the door is still locked and i cant open it. Cant talk anymore with the npc either.

Only got 1 hour left before i gotta sleep, working tomorrow. so frustrating that i cant continue.

After trying and searching everything 3 times, i figured it must be a bug,so..Reloaded 4 times now, redid the rage demon fight twice. even restarted the game. Still can't enter...

Getting really desperate now.

Just got home from work and ready to continue playing after diner.



Anyone has any ideas? Searched forum (as good as possible) and never saw someone else had this issue though.) Other wise i will just quit wardens keep and continue with the main quest. Would suck, no chest to keep items in and no armor. Even worse, i wont be able to play content i paid for..



Would really apreciate some help.

When the game first came out, there were several people with this error.



Just to be clear, it is the door leading to the shrine room right? A L shaped hallway with an table with lots of candles behnid the door?



Or you are in that hallway?



If you are in the hallway with the table and lots of candles, look to the left. There is another door leading to an NPC you have to talk to.

Did you wait until the body was lootable?...sometimes it takes a while.

I am having the same problem on the PS3 version. Is there something different I need to be doing?

Ok I figured it out. All I did was start over from a previous save point and it all seem to work out fine.

maybe your DLC is broken?



Try deleting it from your addon folder, and reload from downloadable contents

this is a bug, i have the same issue on the 360, after you beat the rage demon (and get a nice staff too) there is something you are supposed to interact with once the demon is dead. but that object never becomes interactable and you are stuck. part of me thinks its an issue if you level up while in the keep. one friend has no issue (he did not level in the keep); myself and another friend leveled while in the keep and we can not proceed pass the second floor. do yourself a favor and just leave the keep; the longer you stay there the more upset you will get (trust me). besides this hickup the game is still pretty tight.



i am hoping on my second play through it will work, or that maybe re-downloading may help.

PS3 here... I had no such problem. I don't remember having to interact with any kind of object after killing the rage demon in order to access the rest of the Keep, and,IIRC, i had at least one of my party level up ,. The only problem I had was after Avernus closes the Veil, one time I killed him and the door to the shrine locked up and would not open, and the mini-map indicated there were enemies in the shrine.
