System specs - Phenom 9500 2.3ghz quad AMD, 4gb hyper-X high performance gaming ram by Kingston, 9800GTX+ 512 nvidia GPU, 200gb hard drive with 65gb free space, windows XP 32, 20" wide screen LCD monitor.

I can run games like Age of Conan, The Sims 3, Company of Heroes, Flashpoint Dragon Rising maxed out res and graphics with AA maxed.

My problem is I open the game everything running smooth I load my game it loads within 3 secs I begin playing...  After about 10-20mins of play time I start to get odd FPS drops it comes on slowly then after about 1 hour it gets BAD! my instance or rezoning takes 10mins to load up, I start getting horrible lag spikes so bad I have to save my game then re-open to get rid of the lag!  The lag comes & goes its not steady its just bad bad lag spikes but if I continue to play it gets to the point of non stop lag after about 2 hours so bad it just freezes here & there for like 2secs.

I have tried everything from turning my graphics card to performance to turning everything last graphic in the game to low but it does the same thing on low as it does on high... Its so annoying and I'm fairly sure its not my PC being unable to run the game because like I said I can turn everything to max and run Dragon age just fine lag free for 20mins also have no problem with any other newer high end release game.

Any help?  :(

A lot of people have been having problems with NVidia 9800s, try the beta drivers... and lots of people have had problems with multicore AMDs, try setting processor affinity to the 2nd or 3rd core.

I also have phenom 9500 Quad core and the problem you mentioned.

You should try to use the TLB disabler.

For me, It fixed the lag issue of the voice dialogue and the game runs a little smoother, just need to be reset in every hour or hour 30mins.

I would say it's the band-aid for now...
