Wow - glad to see so many folks excited about Retribution.

Just thought I'd drop by on the OFFICIAL release day and say hi (and engage in some of my shameless self-promotion). Would have been here sooner but I was gearing up for Comic Con (and then recovering from Comic Con).

I know a few of you stopped by to see me during my signing - it's always nice to meet the fans. Hope you enjoy the advance copies of Retribuiton. (I don't even have MY copies yet. <grumble>)

I also hope some of you will be able to make it to Celebration V in Orlando in a couple weeks. Even though it's a Star Wars event, bring your copies of Retribution (or Revelation, or Ascension) and I'll be happy to sign them.

I'll post details of my appearances at Celebration on the NEWS page of my website:

Just a heads up for UK/non US based fans who might have preordered this and still not received a dispatch message -

My preorder was from play.com but they havent charged me yet, and their site said delivery to them is not expected until August :-S. Anyway, I downloaded the ebook from mobipocket for US$7 and it worked fine even though I'm not in the US.



Hope that helps someone who might also wanted to read this today. Gonna go cancel my preorder now :-)

Picked up my copy today, had time to read the prologue quickly. There are some references to the game that are vague, but still seem to lean towards one particular choice having been made in ME2. Not sure if I can post spoilers about the book here.

I felt the prologue kept it vague and didn't really lean either way but there are some other things in the book that do seem to lean towards certain choices made.

If Amazon is correct, then Retribution got delayed by a week for us in the UK. It lists it as an August 5th release, although Book Depository says 27th July.

yeah my preorder on play has the same date.  I don't wanna wait though so I ebooked it.  I'm on chapter 4, and just thought if others were in the same situation as me, there is a solution Really didn't wanna wait another week.

Just my luck. I bike down to my local Chapters-Indigo to pick up a copy and they have none. I used the computers to check if any other stores had any, seems like every other store in my city has at least 3 copies, with the most having 7 copies.
