Well... I picked this book up on Thursday. Finished it today. Could have finished it yesterday if I really wanted to. I enjoyed the book a lot, and I encourage those of you who are curious to go pick up the other 2 books and this one. It saddens me a bit that Drew isn't writing the next one, but he's busy with SWG, so that's ok 
I am seconding the fact that Kahlee needs to be in ME3. Seeing as how Tali referenced the second book in the second game, this shouldn't be too much to ask, even if she is a minor character. Little moments like that make me nerd out!

Well, how can she NOT be in ME3? She's hanging around a major character. You'd think we'd see her at some point.

lol nice edit there... no one will notice. Just finished the novel and I must say... though it started off kinda shaky, the plot really picked up midway through and ended nicely. Definitely the most action-packed of the novels... I didn't know the old man still had it in him... I'll keep the profile photo for a while longer it seems. They introduced a few new characters, some of which I hope we see in later material *a certain wide-eyed sidekick comes to mind*.

NO.
To be fair, Halo: the Flood was just a re-telling of Halo 1 (basically). As long as the next novel won't be based on ME 1 & 2, we should be ok, since I personally don't favor Drew's writing style in the ME books (I buy them for plot/universe info).

I don't know how I'll be able to stomach Dietz writing style after Drew's.
It'll be JARRING.
Which is why I want Kahlee to not even be touched by Dietz. Hell, Kahlee's story could end with Retribution if it means someone else doesn't take it over.
