That thing was just awful. It was nothing but an uninspired, by-the-numbers translation of Combat Evolved. And that writing style was annoying.

Following in the wake of Epic Nylund and Drew is just begging for quality comparison. I've never been so inspired by writing than with Nylund and then so uninspired only a few days later.

I just finished reading. Enjoyed it immensely. I wonder if we'll get the chance to fight a certain Retribution bad guy toe-to-toe in ME3? Seeing him in action in the book got me pumped.
