I downloaded the character creator on my laptop the other day and made this guy who's been successfully uploaded onto the social site.

Assuming that all the data had been transfered, I excitedly installed DAO on my desktop and waited as it went through the process of installing. Eventually, I downloaded all the extra content available and started looking for the character I'd made and uploaded to begin my adventure.

No such luck. If the caracter is not on EA's servers, but stored on my laptop, how might I go about getting those files onto my desktop? Where will I need to put them and such?

To answer my own question, it's a semi-simple matter of transferring files from the character creator on one computer to the second computer. I installed the CC on my desktop to make the process even clearer.



It's frustrating that I can't make a minor change (a "true elf" to a "city elf") without all of my appearance options reverting to the default (in either the game or the CC) but it's a minor quibble
