The Hanar, because when the secret gets out that you (Commander Shepard) killed what was left of the Protheans, they will separate from the Citadel Alliance and declare war on Humanity!

or

Chances are likely that the Reapers will invade the Galaxy early on it the game, so that's when Bioware will introduce the Reaper footsoilders!

Is it possible that reapers have infantry? How else would they conquer worlds so quickly?

Apparently you didn't play ME 2.  You know those fat husks who would shoot you with blue stuff. Yeah those were guns. Posted ImagePosted Image

Hmmm... Well they did say the husks had evolved since the first game. Maybe they continue to evolve into something like a collector

Yeah, even more weird and deformed. Starts to look like dead space to me.

I'm thinking we'll get to see combinations of husks, left over Collectors and Vorcha. A reaper footsoldier doesn't sound bad, but it does seem a bit derivative... yet another horde of faceless droids, better to use husks then.

For some reason for the foot soliders I just see Mini-Terminators. I mean we already got a reaper terminator. I now expect a mini one!Posted Image

Notice how so many planets have been "bombed from orbit until nothing was left but basic bacteria"

Yeah.

I see a lot of people talking about more sophisticated husks. While I definitely see more new husk variants appearing in ME3, I think that by design they lack the overall intelligence to pose a significant threat by themselves (being essentially dead). Even the husks in ME2 needed to be driven around by the Collectors like kids going to a robot/space zombie soccer game.

That said, I think some new husk varieties would be welcome. Not only in function, but race as well. I mean, why aren't there any Turian or Asari husks? A Krogan husk would be a friggin' stampeding nightmare freight-train of awesomeness! All you have to do is shish-kabab em' on some dragons teeth and presto! One other thing regarding husks: Why are they all naked? We see people impaled with their clothes on right near the beginning of the first game, sooo....what happens there that I'm missing?

Cerberus, reapers and heretics. Cerberus could come in two forms, maybe Illusive Man fulls under indoctrination and begins to believe that joining up with Reapers could advance humans to another level, like Saren hoped that would come for all organic life.

Then he goes onto hand over his organization to the reaperz, which result in new sort of mutants and cyborgs. Probably would be too close to Husks, but meh.. That's my thoughts anyway.

As long as I don't have to fight anymore Blue Sun or Eclipse mercs, then I am happy.

Husks, geth, vorcha... those will do nicely.

I think that like in ME2, husks will come in new forms (with biotics perhaps?). I also could imagine the vorcha making a reappearance. However, i've always been under the impression that cerberus will be your enemy in ME3 no matter what (paragon= you quit, renegade= illusive man betrayal); it would make things a lot simpler for Bioware moving forward...

Anyways... maybe if you chose a paragon ending for ME2, cerberus will be hunting you for quitting, making cerberus operatives your enemies at times in the game

... on the other hand, if you chose a renegade ending, the tech from the collector base could end up being used by the reapers as a source of indoctrination. Exposure to the tech would put the illusive man under reaper control and once again turn cerberus against you

its just an idea, but i think it could lead to an ending in ME3 that fully ties up the plotlines

Yeah, but the Geth aren't likely to be a significant problem (if you did Legion's loyalty misson they may not be one at all). Husks are just bullet sponges, and Vorcha aren't really that challenging. I think that most of us want to see something that meets the standards we expect from both a gameplay and story perspective.

oh, and in addition to my previous post, i would much like shepard to face the reapers in some sort of direct, battle-royale-esque confrontation using the reaper schematics obtained at the end of ME2

I have a feeling TIM's unchecked interest in Reaper tech comes back to bite him... Not saying it may indoctrinate TIM, but it could give us some indoctrinated/implanted reaper followers to fight...

I think that there will be a lot similar enemies from the first to games, like merc groups, batarians, not necessarily "agents", for the Reapers, but people who stand in Shepard's way, whether to unite a faction, or to kill the Shadow Broker. But when the Reapers do arrive, they will probably have husks, maybe a new race or mechanical assitants, or maybe there will be a race they enslave.

Anyway, I want to see Saren return.......................As a teammate.

And I guarantee there will either be a destruction of Cerberus by your hand, or you will assist them take over the galaxy.
