I just bought the normal version not knowing other versions had different armor sets. would have totally paid the extra money for those, but i'd rather spend $10 in microsoft points another 50.

It better not be, I want to have a damn exclusive, and keep it,
And BioWare wants money. I let your imagination fill the rest.

We will have to wait and see, I would love it to be released as DLC, I am still trying to find a code myself for the armor

Not that I really want it, I've already found stuff that works for me in game, but perhaps it's good for Bioware to realize that such knowledge is not obvious for everyone.

Yes they did. The M-29 Incisor Sniper is a different story, however.

To everyone of the 'I want (it) to stay/be exclusive'-faction: ever considered being on the other side of the (pay)wall? There are people there as well. So stop trying to hinder others from having what you have.
We... meaning me... payed $10 extra for the CE. The armor was marketed as being only for hte CE of the game. It would be a breach of contract between EA/Bioware and the buyer. It wasn't a pre-order item or an item for buying it directly form EA. It was marketed as being: "Exclusive in-game Collectors' Edition weapon and armor." Sorry... you don't get it.

Oh my gosh, somebody call the waaahmbulance! Breach of contract? Seriously? False advertising at best - although it would never stick in court because at the time you bought it, that was the ONLY place you could get it, so it was exclusive.
I have the Collectors' Edition, and I got what I paid for. I got a sexy case, my cool art book, and some in-game stuff. If someone else gets to buy part of what I have for part of the price six months down the line, that really doesn't affect me at all. It's not like I was all of a sudden ripped-off. I got my money's worth, and I got it on day one. I say, let others have it. Who cares?

Heck cares if it gets sold eventually. Not like it's going to ruin my game experience that other people whom I'll never meet play with a specific armor on. Besides BioWare will get a lot of money for it and they'll still got your money from the CE you have bought. Probably we won't see any more Cerberus Network DLCs, since the players are willing to pay for everything, why make things free then?

No, it's collector's edition only for a reason.
Knowing EA they will release those DLC at a later date.

You paid more to use something earlier than the rest, just like how most of us bought the game for full price only to find it priced in 4/5 months.
You must really hate Javier and me then, because we got access to the Collector weapon/armor and all pre-order DLC for free during the day-1 DLC screw up.

Not purchasing the collector's edition was a grave mistake on my part. That said I care little for the case, the art book etc etc. Personally I just want the collector's armor already paid my $60 for the standard edition plus more for nearly every DLC pack. Ask me $10 for collector armor and I'll gladly pay it. For you collector's edition owner's I simply ask: what do you lose? You get your shiny case, book, and other goodies.
You sir. You're a blight!

Yeah, I can understand not caring about the art book, but considering how fugly the standard ME2 case was, I don't understand how anyone DIDN'T buy the CE.
It's more about supporting a marketing strategy that adds an ingame item what doesn't required to get the full gaming experience and you can love the game to bits without it, for additional money.
