 ok so, the first character is the main tank in my party and he is doing a great job (human noble) he is lvl 16 and most of his armor is amazing but i cant find a good shield, or high level main hand, right now i am using a dwarvern long sword and a heavy metal shield (tier 5), so were can i get good replacements.

the second part of my question is were can i get all the knight commander armor  (trying to cover Alistair with it) (it looks really cool) (he is 2 hand spec) 
if anyone has any ideas please post them, Thank you!!

You can buy the breast plate outside of Ozrammar if I remember correctly. The helm dropped of some mob I think... I have it but can't remember where from.



A VERY cool looking combo is knight-commander armor + Dragon age Helm (the one from the DLC).

you mean the blood dragon one or the one from wardens keep ( i have the blood dragon armor but not warden's keep) and thanks for responding

Best shield I got early in the game was from Arl Eamon's armory while the demon was still inside his son. You need a rogue to pick the lock. I'm not sure if it will be there after completing that part of the story. The best shield in the game was from a small treasure room (there were piles of gold on the ground) that you could unlock after obtaining the key from the Arl you can kill in Denerim just before the Landsmeet.



The best armor was from turning in your dragon scale. You can get 75%ish fire resistance by wearing it. There is a helm to go with it that gives 75% spirit resistance that I got from a Darkspawn General. That helm alone made the archdemon cake.

i have the dragon armor already lol, just need a shield, and damm i already did redcliff, ah well i will check again there, if not, YAY NOW i have an excuse to start another character !!!!!

The chamberlin who attacks you with skeletons in Redcliffe drops the key to the vault where the shield is.

else buy the bulwark shield from ur camps dwarf for some gold.. it isnt reall expensive and allistair my tank rocks with it

Or..you could get the Legion of the Dead armor..thats always an option.
