Here is the armor someone mentioned that was displayed along with the Arc Projector.

I just wanna say I'm surprised that they're still throwing out DLC support this long after release. Kudos, Bioware.

But yeah, if this is the same armor as advertised in that screenie, I want it asap.

Looking at Bioware's DLC policy for Mass Effect 2 I get the feeling that the days of free DLC packs are over. I mean this Aegis Pack is comparable with the Cerberus Armour and Eviscerator Shotgun pack, and that was free. Not that I'm whining about it though. Bioware has to make a living somehow.

Thats also what i was wondering. I'm also wondering if the release date on that Xbox live link was right since it says it's released today.

Bioware releases its DLC most times on a Tuesday. And today it's Tuesday. At least in my timezone.

I totally agree. I mean, I want more Overlord-size packs and maybe expansion packs (if Bioware can keep the bugs down unlike Awakening) and more stuff about the Batarian Rebellion, but these items packs are good things to keep some people busy in-between these larger DLC. If you don't want it, just don't get it. It's not like making these armor pieces takes development time out of the larger DLC and its not like it was already in the game.

ME2 is the first game I am putting up with the nickel and dimeing, problem is, I want it all. Oh crap.

I had a quick question is this region locked so far, because i'm in the U.S and was wondering this dlc is not available yet except outside the U.S, so if i downloaded would my game be able to play if or would it mess up files and such?

Just download it off the UK marketplace.

Link

That's what I did.

I think the intention of the Cerberus Network DLC was to provide $15 worth of free DLC (to cover the cost of what someone would pay if they bought the game used).

it's like all the people who complained that the free DLC we released with the game wasn't...free enough. since all of it was built from the ground up as DLC (and not cut from the game as some conspiracy theorists might think)

if we had just charged for it, there may have been less complaining ;)

I hope you didn't repost that as a sneer at me.

That sleek black armor is pretty sexy. If this is indeed that, I may have to intentionally buy it this time, instead of waiting until I have leftover XBL points.

I can confirm that it is that armor showed in the above screenshot.

It wasn't a sneer, unless you interpreted it that way from Michael Gamble.

It doesn't even apply to me. Like I said, Bioware has to make a living somehow between game releases.

Yup. They probably have three separate teams working on Mass Effect instead of one now.

(Or four if you include whatever they're making at BioWare Montreal)

That's a microsoft thing. Xbox live updates on tuesday, so all xbox DLC is always released on tuesday.

Great, another Equilizer pack. If this is genuine I'll pass.

I passed on the Equilizer, but this one has a full suit of interchangeable pieces. I already have the Incisor Rifle, though.

this. depends entirely on what it finally looks like, i guess (edit: i assume the above is not final, because that looks crap).

Well, guess I know what I'm doing when I get home from work. 160 points is about the price of a beer, and I'll probably spend more time with the Incisor than I will with a beer.

Oh, and my slavish compulsion to have all options available to me.
