Not only that, but bards apparently lie to their friends or the one they love! That certainly is believable!
Leliana's Song (complete spoilers, read if you've completed or don't care)

I went into your country and caused chaos! MWAHAHAHAHA! Oh, and I found some papers about Orlais, was betrayed, imprisoned and tortured, and fought my way out and got the papers! Did you see the underwear I left on the Chantry Board?
or
I was just doing what I was supposed to do, in my country, and discovered I was giving away information about Orlais, got betrayed, imprisoned, and tortured by own people, and fled to Ferelden to worship the Maker!
Which one makes you more sympathic? And it was close enough to the truth don't ya think?

A fun adventure, but low replay value. I am not thrilled with the download adventures put out by Bioware at all really. I never did get Bring Down the Sky to work reliably, don't even like the notion of Darkspawn Chronicles and Return to Ostagar had Wynne hitting hard on Alistair.
Shale was fun and added a nice twist to the main adventure as well. Warden's Keep was also a decent little pack.
Don't get me wrong, Song was worth 7 bucks, but I don't think it's as good as Shale in the long run or even Warden's Keep. Those are both tied to the adventure, Song isn't except for some mediocre armor. I did like Song more than Return to Ostagar though.

I was expecting more RPing and stealth from this DLC tbh. The first part was very well done, but the story fell apart soon after. All in all, I reckon the story would be presented better in a youtube video rather than letting the player playing as Leliana, just like how we see Kristoff in Warden's Fall.
Pros:
- Excellent music and atmosphere
- Good voice acting
Cons:
- Too linear (dialogue choices made no difference, the illusion of dialogue 'choices' stands out)
- Felt rushed
- Disappointing story (too simplistic?)
- Recycled areas - seen that estate and market a billion times

Thanks Bioware! This is how a DLC for 4 Euros should look like. After Retard in Ostagar, Awakening and Darkspawn it's the first step in the right direction.

This DLC was quite fun, and felt worth the price. the presentation was fantastic, will definetly buy more of this kind. it was enthralling from beginning to the end.
Bioware, this is THE way it's done. Rinse and repeat.
I'd agree... but i think Awakening was great too. but yeah, this is the first decent sized DLC... not in length only, it's basically got it all.Lato_666 wrote...

I have somehow not acquired the first 3 Codex entries for Leliana's Song and I am not sure where they would have been. Any ideas?
