Hi Folks,

As you may have already seen, the Aegis Pack is now available on Xbox LIVE marketplace, and will be available for the PC this morning.

What’s better than the latest in high-tech armor? High-tech armor and a sniper rifle, of course! The Aegis Pack adds the M-29 Incisor sniper rifle and the Kestrel armor to Shepard’s armor locker.
The Incisor sniper rifle is a burst-fire weapon that excels in destroying enemy shields.

The Kestrel armor comes in five pieces:
The Kestrel Helmet adds weapon damage, shield strength, and headshot damage.
The Kestrel Torso Sheath adds melee and weapon damage and shield strength.
Kestrel Arm Sheathing adds melee and weapon damage and shield strength.
Kestrel Shoulder Pieces adds shields and melee damage.
The Kestrel hip-mounted Power Pack ups shields and heavy weapon ammo capacity.
The Aegis Pack – for those times when overkill doesn’t seem like enough.

Let me get this straight: the armour can be used without the helmet, unlike previous armour packs? If so, this is great news indeed!

I decided to buy it with leftover points from Overlord. It does look pretty cool. Kinda bulky on FemShep though.

Yup, it's just additional N7 Armor pieces.

Yes, the armor is piece-based. Meaning you can take the helmet (or any other part) off.

oh look something stupid for me to spend the rest of my useless points on. thank you bioware. let me guess it costs 361 points?! cool ill just go spend $5 more for 1 point and keep 399 useless points that will sit in my account until the next useless dlc comes out.

Here's an idea: make DLC available to all but Cerberus Network (those who bought it new) have a small discount.

Just finished downloading this and about to fire it up as soon as Im finished eating lunch lol....Been waiting for this particular DLC for a while now. Nice to see a "good" surprises for a change. Time to actually start working on my Infiltrator data now
