Is it available on PS3 shop in Asia (Taiwan) yet? Do not see it in the Sony store.

I loved it completely. My playthrough clocked out at a solid 3 hours and 42 minutes, which is damn good for only $7. I love Leliana even more now. her hair in Origins doesn't seem as good, though. lol. One highlight of the quest was finding my city elf's mother. I didn't expect that. Only disappointment I had is that the armor you get doesn't look unique. It looks like any throwaway item you would find anywhere. There should have been some red in the color scheme. Some of the unique items you find along the way would have been good loot, too.

in all I think Leliana's Song is a good template for similarly priced DLC. I would love to explore the stories of other party members.

I DAO,when Leliana made her confession to the Warden, she wouldn't have had any reason to lie about the locale. So yes. it should have been set it Orlais. If BioWare had set the game in Orlais, (AS WE ALL AGREE THEY SHOULD HAVE); then they would still be working on it. I would love to have seen this DLC take place in Orlais; but we know that big business is all about the mighty $$$$$$$.(and by reusing old maps, they saved a lot). They would have had to create almost everything from scratch; which would have cost them a lot more money. Meaning they would probably charge more for it.

I've read all the posts, and I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned a bug that I encountered 5 times in 4 game plays. Every time Leliana gets thrown in the dungeon, she loses her ''coup de grace'' skill. On my third play, she lost it twice. As soon as she got to the Arles estate the second time, I go to level her up; and no "coup de grace" skill. So I give it back to her,and she fights her way out of the estate. When she gets thrown in the dungeon, go to level up, and no "coup de grace". It cost me 2 skill points that time. This doesn't take into account that some characters don't have specializations. On my last play i encountered a video loop, which i really enjoyed. Leliana got to kill Rolleigh (spelling?) and say goodbye to Marjolaine twice. REALLY REALLY ENJOYED killing Rolleigh twice.

It would be nice to know if anyone else has encountered the same, or any other bugs.

With that said; I still loved the game.

The only thing that does not make sense to me is that Bioware could have easily told other stories that occur in Ferelden if they wanted to set this in Orlais but did not want to spend the time or money.  They did not have to do Leliana's Song, and they could have chosen another story, either centered on another companion, or exploring some other episode hinted at in DA:O, that would have been set in Ferelden without having to worry about Orlais.  So, I do think they must have had some other reason for setting this in Denerim.

Also, if this DLC were intended for Orlais, I do not think we would have seen it.  While I have no evidence, and this is just a suspicion, I have a hunch that DA:O is all about Ferelden - i.e., that Orlais is reserved for future sequels, and will not be shown in any DA:O content.  I may be wrong, of course, and I will be happy to see Orlais if we get the chance, but I think that is what Bioware is doing.

I finished the dlc, and gained all achievements. But why is it not showing on my social site.

Same here. No achivements on Social Profile.

I also noticed that DLC-unique items my Leliana is wearing are not displayed correctly on profile page.

It seems Bioware forgot to upload DLC data to social site DB.  I realy hope this doesn't mean I'll have to do the achievemnts again...

Everything is fixed now!

Thanks, BioWare!

PS. Just noticed that they even added a custom icon of Leliana's "Orlesian" origin story to character profile page. Nice touch.

Good dlc. Bioware has pretty much redeemed themselves after Darkspawn ****fest atrocity.

The DLC was well done, but I had a couple of problems. On the first playthrough, I should have unlocked two achievements: the Battledress and the completion, but for some reason, they didn't unlock. Leliana spent a good part of my playthrough actually wearing the Battledress, but I don't have it available in Origins. I also had some weirdness with the last few cutscenes playing twice. Has anyone else had these problems?

not with the achievements but the cutscenes yes, they played twice...but in my case at the end of the story more or less.

My wife and I have each finished LS now. I just wanted to say 'thanks' Bioware for a great DLC. This is exactly the kind of story-driven dlc that I've been hoping for and I'm tickled we got something like that. :)

One comment: ordinarily we have to buy two DLC's (xbox and pc versions) because my wife plays xbox and I play pc. Hence, most dlc's that tie into the main story of origins/awakenings need to be bought separately so that we can both enjoy the content with 'our' protagonists and the decisions we've made. However, with LS we felt that since the story is entirely standalone and unrelated to our protagonist, there was little point buying it twice. We just bought the pc version and my wife played through on the computer.

The point of this post is that when you come to reviewing your sales figures for various dlc types, I hope you allow for this difference in purchasing behavior. I really wish you would allow us to buy the dlc and have it available for all platforms. If nothing else, it would allow more meaningful sales comparsions to be made. I hope you will produce more of this kind of dlc in the future while we wait for DA2. :)

The DLC is a separate module.  It is not related to what you do in your main game.

Im sorry, didnt enjoyed this DLC, since ive seen alot off posts praising this i think its more a personal taste then quality, what i didnt liked is the lack of "caring" what youre NPC whas doiing, i think thats because there is almost no interaction between the characters in leliana's song and to be honest i didnt liked the ending. <personal taste>
The price of the DLC whas good, like most of the DLC that u bring out. I hope u dont see this as another troll post like the ones ive seen about dragon age 2 but more like constructive critisism.
To make a long post short, good dlc but i hope something more in the future

Well, I guess if one isn't starting this DLC with the same perspective of it that it has of itself: "This is a story of something that happened to me [Leliana], who chooses to narrate it as I see fit..." than these criticisms are valid.  But LS  wasn't supposed to be a another one,  or an extension, of "the Warden's Adventures".

I found evey part of the "story" interesting, especially  those bit that's didn't  line-up exactly with what we'd heard in DA:O.  Was she lying then?  Or now?  Could she have been changing the location(s) and/or participants in the tale in order to protect someone?  If so, would that be herself?  When  was she even supposed to be telling this  version?  Like any true storyteller, was she taking elements for her own life and adding them to a more exciting yarn to make it truly "Her  Song"?

Just imagining the permutations, and the consequences of any one of them being "true" makes for an evening's entertainment in my house! Image IPB

And for a US$7, ~4-hour DLC, I thought there was a LOT of interaction with the new NPCs.  I certainly came to "care" what happened to them (no spoiler!) and want to see more if/when possible!  Not bad for a small, stand-alone piece. Image IPB

I can certainly say, this was the best DLC by Bioware yet imo (even if it did reuse locations and had some bugs, such as the "silent talking"). What I expected, I got. And more.

I'd love to see more of Sketch and Silas in the future. I really liked those two despite the short screentime they had.

Continue good work Bioware!

It might seemed inconsistent as a story.
Maybe because another facter influences, Orlais or any reasons in reality which has not seen in the game before.
Or she is a totally liar, no evidence she is not.
I think game stories could go everywhere if it goes without reality, but without reality any consequences losts meanings, became invalid.
Maybe not for all fantasies, but for me, and this game had too much reality.

Reusing old maps saves money, and Orlais not being defined saves the area to be more unique if the time ever does come to visit.

Loved this DLC. Very fun and interesting to learn all the details in this story.

There were only one minor issue in my opinion: SPOILER-> It was weird that the priest that saved Leliana from prison had Marjolaines voice. It was identical. When we could not see her in the beginning I first tought it was Marjolaine, but it was clear that Leliana knew it was someone else. SPOILER END.

However; this issue was very, very small. The most important thing was the story, writing and acting. And all of this were perfect. For this low price; I give it 10/10 without doubt.

Now I hope for more DLC like this one. Would be great to play backstories for the other companions too.

I would love to love this DLC, however as soon as I installed it, it and the rest of my official DLC became "unauthorized", thus rendering my game unplayable. This exciting feature has hindered my enjoyment of Leliana's Song somewhat.

YES INDEED!!  Give us more Companion DLC!  If they were to do another such DLC, it would likely be one of the main companions with whom you can have a love interest as those are the most likely to draw the most attention and $$$.

Not Zevran.  Although following in the footsteps of his Assassin origin would be very interesting, I don't think they'll do another Rogue-type character DLC as it would be too similar to Leliana's Song.  Sorry, Zev-gals!!  Image IPB

Maybe Morrigan.  Seeing her raised in the Wilds with Flemeth would be intriguing.  Avoiding and trapping Templars all the while learning the dark arts from the true Flemeth.  Dark and magical.  It would also reveal more of Morrigan's personality and appeal to the Morrigan-lovers.  Image IPB
