Hmmm.. at the Beginning, after i kill the Orlesian guy, all guards come after me.. seems especially buggy since i use Stealth with Leliana, they don´t attack but turn red nonetheless and cry out...same with the noble. lousy programming

Yup.  That's my issue too -- really quite annoying.  Also, I'm not sure if it was a stylistic choice or not but the saved dialogue between characters doesn't exactly save all the dialogue (because the accents are so thick I sometimes like to go back to see what has exactly been said).  At any rate, I found that a lot of the more 'suggestive' spoken dialogue (specifically between Marj and Leli during cut scenes) seem to be missing from the journal.  I wonder if they second-guessed it upon release and PG-ed it down.

I was able to down load Leliana's song but the major problem I am having is one she is Bald as a cue ball, and two in the cut scenes she is not there its like the thin air is talking. And one problem above all problems is that when I got to the estate and have to put the documents in the desk the game crashes.

I have exactly the same issue.  Where can I manually download the dazip?

Thanks Snow0815 I will try that site when I get home. Its crazy to pay for something that don't work right. Beyond other issue I have with the game I am a fan for life, but some things need a little more work.

Yeah just a littled upset now, after getting with their support was told to remove all my dlc's and allow them to download again know this takes forever and eternity, I did this and still same them, invisible cut screens and bald liliana. So not happy with this mess right now.

I keep getting 'unauthorised' DLC and now 'Awakenings' has simply vanished! And EA are no help, what can be done outside legal action. I mean, we paid for something that does not work, or we can not use/access... if this were any other industry they would face prosecution! Bioware... beware... is that their motto?

I'm having the same problem. I've tried removing etc but still no joy. Am I missing something but what is mod manager and how do I get it. It seems to have fixed things for some people.

Just a quick note to say that reinstalling DA then applying the DLC with daupdate.exe worked for me. I never had any custom mods applied, but I noticed that the DLC download ingame (ie: in your 'downloadable content' menu) failed a couple of times, which I had to resume - so it probably corrupted something.

the answer, sadly, is no, the patch did not fix it. Bioware seems intent on completely ignoring this. They don't fix this, and the don't tell people why they don't fix it.

so can we bet a bioware representative to tell us that tis is being worked on, or is this something you're ignoring (like I suspect)? I would REALLY like to play this, but how can I when I can't get past the second part of the quest?

the answer is likely no. They haven't responded to multiple topics, and even if they did, their response  you will get is "Please try uninstalling/reinstalling Dragonage". Which, if you listen to them (like I unwisely did) will lead to your reinstallation failing due to an unreadable file.

I have tried the reinstall, I have removed origin and awakening from my computer.  I reinstalled them and then allowed my DLC's to re download. This did not work.  I have updated drivers for nearly ever hardware I have, this didn't fix the problem.  PLEASE DO NOT waste your time redownloading the game.  I have spokeing to Bioware so called tech support so many times I can not count.  And ever time I do it gets me even more peeved off.  I have not attempted to play Leliana's song again and will be in the process in he near future to get my money back. I refuse to pay for something I can not play.  And if that means i have to get the BBB involved I will.  This is absolutly rediculous, that so many people have the same problem and they have not sent out not one note about a remedy.  I love this game but there are some better games out there that I can be spending my time on. And if they do not fix this mess I will not be getting Origin 2 next month.  No telling what other bugs are waiting to blow up your computer, no thanks.

Ok, the work around works for me as well. I used ModManager to disable all other mods, then uninstalled the Leliana DLC. I tried to get the Origins itself to re-download but it wouldn't so I had to go to this site and download it as a DAZIP and install it using ModManager (or daupdate.exe) if you don't use ModManager. After it installed, everything at the start anyway worked. Leliana was VISIBLE in the intro scenes and had hair at the beginning of the game. I haven't played past that yet, so I can only vouch for what I know so far. Leliana is my, as many others, FAVORITE character so I am glad to see more content with her.I DO hope that they fix the issues, and especially hope Leliana will be in Dragon Age II which was just announced.

As far as the repeating cutscenes, make the same choices during the repeat, then after it starts to repeat again just hit escape and it will skip to the next or end depending on where you are.

I tried this work around but unfortunately it did not work for me.  Having mods enabled or disabled didn't make a difference.  But Leliana looks normal in game.  Maybe someone can mod it to fix it.

I have the problem that, if I spend a talent point on Leliana (f.e. on coup de grace)... it will be unspent the next time I get another talent point (so I can put it in f.e. coup de grace again!). So basically, I can't level her up

Same problems here. Leliana is bald and invisible in cutscenes (though she does show up in a couple cutscenes in the estate). The game crashes when I try to place documents in the desk. I have never installed any unofficial mods. I have the latest patch. Leliana's Song will not download automatically for me, the zip file was the only way I could get it.

Well, "good" to know a full reinstall does not fix anything, saves some time. Sure hope to see this fixed though, Dragon Age is a very nice game and this is an interesting DLC which I would love to play, but not like this.

I've had the same problem specifically with coup de grace.  So I just don't use it on her.  That same bug has popped up a couple of times on my Origins characters as well.  I just leave the skill alone until I've scrounged a tome that lets me also select "Feign Death" in the next level-up.  Annoying.
