It seems that I am not the only one having this problem. I did download Leliana's Song. It was dowloaded 100% and fully installed (or so it did say at least). Now I cannot load my saved games because it says that they have content from Leliana's Song which is now unauthorized. When I check this from the Dowloadble tab it really says that Leliana's Song is truly unauthorized. I cannot understand why. All the other DLC are ok.
This is really irritating!! I cannot load my recent saved games. Funny thing is that some old saves from the same characters seems to work but they are days behind and I really do not want to start from there again! Also the saved games from my other character seems to work ok.

Any idea how to fix? Hopefully someone can help me. Although this should be Bioware / EA responsibility. They have made really crappy system in DLC.

i have the same prob. just got off phone w tech support. they are "escalating my issue to a higher level." anyone figure out a fix? EA says its a know prob with this DLC. also, under "downloads" ingame it says that lilianas song is downloading but its stuck on zero - just perpetually downloading and staying at zero... tried manual install and it still says "unauthorized". weak... any fixes, let me know!

I was finally able to fix this "unauthorized problem" and saved games now seem to work. I dit it like slipknotts (see his post earlier in this thread). However this is very time consuming thing to do since you must download all the DLC content again. Also those mods (if you had any) which were  listed in the games installed tab must be re-installed. I have made a decision that I will not buy anymore any DLC content (no matter how good they might be) unles Bioware / EA have fixed their system.

PROBLEM SOLVED - SHOULD WORK FOR ALL PC USERS AT LEAST...
ok - go into your bioware folder (mine is in "User/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/AddIns") and open AddIns folder - delete these 3 folders; dao_prc_lel, dao_prc_lel_dao, dao_prc_lel_ep1. once you do this go into the game and re-download and re install the mods, shut down and restart the game. this worked for me. hope it works for you.

I must have tryed just about eveything that has been listed and im still having the problem, can't bioware just patch it or somthing. If this is a known issue then why release it ? Just yet another issue paying customers have to put up with thanks to DRM I guess.

Hi guys after talking with EA suport they got it working for me by doing the following steps. Hope it works for you to. Best of luck ^.^



1. Navigate to your Dragon Age install folder

2. Right-click on bin_ship and select Copy

3. Open Computer, right-click on the C: drive, and select Paste

4. Hold down the Windows key and press F to bring up Windows search

5. Select All files and folders

6. Type installutil in the search box

7. Look for the installutil.exe located in C:\\Windows\\Microsoft.NET\\Framework\\[Version]; the last folder will vary



based on the version of .NET Framework that is installed on your computer

8. Hold down the Windows key and press R to bring up the Run command

9. Type cmd and press Enter

10. At the Command Prompt, type cd\\ and press Enter

11. Type C: and press Enter

12. Type cd\\Windows\\Microsoft.NET\\Framework\\[Version]

13. Type installutil /u "C:\\bin_ship\\DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe" and press Enter

14. Type installutil "C:\\bin_ship\\DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe" and press Enter

15. Type net start DAUpdaterSvc and press Enter

So, after being anyhow suspicious about exploiting customers by DLC I nevertheless decided to buy Leliana`s song and Golems of Amgarrak. And after a (due to my slow internet connection) endless download and one attempted start of the DLC, I ended up reading a number of possible ways to get it possibly running in this forum. The lessons I will draw from this are: Don`t buy DLC. Rethink your opinion about bioware products. Waste less time with playing PC games.

DOES ANYBODY OF BIOWARE OR EA VISIT THIS FORUM?

How dare you selling stuff which should be given away for free as customer support? How dare you selling stuff I have to waste not only my money but also my TIME with?

This is like selling a car, but without the keys, as the customer is supposed to break into his just purchased car and use his short-circuiting abilities to get it running!

FIX THIS ISSUE, or lose a customer! That is, if you still care and have not yet milked your grand dragonshaped cow enough to stop giving a **** about the people buying your products.
