It's Monday night and no one from BW is even acknowledging the issue with the patch. Even if they say they don't know its broken, not 1 moderator is going to mention it to someone at BW. Must be counting the loot.

There's no reason to mention it..... I stand by the original dragon age forums.

we've resolved the issue with the patch that makes the game not launch... what issue are you speaking about?

I thought you were writing about the downed Bioware Forum servers. But this is only the fifth time, plus or minus, I have witnessed a game launch when the presence of anyone other than Chris Priestley totally ends on release day, because SUPPORT follows the distribution, and Atari or Lucas Arts (then) or EA (now) handle all of that. After the game's release, these forums (well, those that they always have had since they took over from Black Isle), become purely users only answering other users.
I'm sure there is some contractual aspect there, and Bioware's regular people aren't SUPPOSED to participate.

Gorath is correct, publishers are responsible for "tech support" and these are the "user support forums" to help fix end-user configuration problems and the like. I'd still like to know what issue the OP has...

I have not installed it due to all of the complaints from people who have installed it. And frankly, after 64.99 + Tax 8.75% (Collectors Edition) & 23.99 + Tax 8.75% (Collectors Edition Manual) + 7.00 for Wardens Keep. I feel their asses should be providing top notch support or at least links to it. IMO EA sucks if you don't have a PS3 or 360. When did the f'd up idea that pub supports a game philosopy transpire? So, what you are saying is the guy who delivered to me an unfinished/broken game is now responsible for the patches to fix it? Yeah.......Right
