Just finished Marjolaine's vendetta but she wasn't overly impressed so it seems I missed something. I dumped the dead Jovi, the Bann's codpiece and the signet on him. I suppose I should have placed the stolen goods from the 3 chests on him as well? Had already finished that one so there was no getting them back at that point... Also wondering about the piece of paper the Bann had on him, is there a use for that? Maybe swap it for the charity box money or place it in one of the chests? Again, had already done these things before so couldn't try.

I'm wondering too... "It's a start" is the dialogue I get when placing the body of dead Jovi next to the sleeping man. The journal says that "a more personal touch" is needed to impress Marjolaine. I stuck the codpiece to the Chantry board, so I couldn't drop that. What about the signet ring? I picked one up from a dead guard, but I was never given the option to put it next to the sleeping man. I swapped the fenced goods between the chests. I also tried dumping Jovi's body in the well - and that earned me more XP than placing him by the sleeping man.

The signet ring that worked for me was the one off the apostate mage. Didn't get any special ring from a guard, just non-magic ones.

You need to put all things you find to the captain Eams. 3 different items from the chests, Bunn Terrin's note, Jovi's body and mage collective ring.

I'm having a problem with this as well. Planted the suspect undergarments, the mage's collective ring, and the body to no avail. Reloaded and did them individually instead of all at once. Reloaded and tried again. There's nothing else to interact with that I can find. Is there a special order perhaps?

Do you mean for the achievement? I don't know about that, but she was certainly pleased with my work when I rotated all the stolen items (item1 into box2, 2 to 3, 3 to 1), dumped body down well, and placed codpiece on chanter's board. Kept the ring, left sleeping guard alone. I haven't done the achievement yet, maybe later.

It's worth noting that you don't get the achievement until you signal to Marjolaine that you're ready. Once she starts talking about the guy, if you've done everything, you'll get it then.



Also, while the Mage's Collective Signet Ring can be put on the body, it's not required. So go ahead and give it to Sketch if you like.



As for the note you find on the Bann, I think the point is to direct you to the spot where you can use his underwear to humiliate him.

how do you get the "things" needed from the Bann in the first place? i dunno what to do, kinda stuck there
