So I try and save my screenshots to the album you can make here on the social site.
However, every time I try, it tells me that there's something wrong with the files, that they might be corrupt.

They look like normal .jpg files to me. I can open them just fine.
Photobucket won't let me upload them either.

Does anyone know why?
Or how to fix this?

I had a similar problem with my screenshots. I found the solution myself. Here's what ya can try:

Open the Paint program, then go to your screenshot file, & 'Drag' it into the Paint program to place it inside the picture modifying area. This should now have a copy of your screenshot inside the program. Now go to File - Save As... - & make sure you select the file type in the drop down list as .jpg to save it in .jpg format. Then try to upload this new file. For some wierd reason, our screenshots aren't saving as .jpg by default.Image IPB

This pic was made by myself by following the rough instructions I just gave ya, & is cropped from a screenshot. This was done by using a 'select' tool (the one that enables ya to make a dotted line box) in the Paint program to box the face of my character so I could cut it out of the pic & save it as a seperate .jpg file. I hope this helps, & that the instructions are eloquent enough. I'm not a tough bugger at describing things. Image IPB

No problem! Image IPB I've discovered since then that screenshots do seem to save as JPEG after all, so i'm stumped about why it's needed to do this trick to get the social site to notice it's in the correct format to get the pic uploaded correctly.

If anyone wants to see the trick in action in another example, There's another example of it here:
