Is there any way I can use a stage from the single player module in my add on module? I've read http://social.biowar...6/index/1361095 which is about dynamic stages but the bit where it says set the area of your new stage to the area you want to use confuses me. I can't see any way to access the single player areas from my module.
Can anyone explain?
Thanks.
Edit: Okay it's embarrassingly simple. Been trying for hours but overlooked the most obvious solution. If anyone else is trying to work it out.
Make a new stage with the tag of the stage from the single player module.
Make sure 'At current location' isn't ticked.
I would still like to know if it's possible to use the area and the places from the single player cut scene from inside my module though.
Edit 2: Okay so I thought I had it working but all my cameras are get put at 0,0,0 whenever I try to use the stage in a conversation or cut scene
Edit 3: Right worked it out in the end. If anyone else finds this topic and has the same confusion this is how I managed it:
Open the single player module in the toolset.
Find the stage that you want to use.
Right click and choose open local copy.
Edit the stage however you want (this way you can see the area it's linked to).
Go to file -> save as -> change the two drop down boxes to your module.
Switch the toolset back to editing your module.
Open the stage and set the area to none.
Make sure that the tag matches the tag used for the stage in the area where it appears in the single player module.
When you use the stage in a conversation make sure that 'use in current area' is not ticked.
