So I'm trying to get familiar with the level design, and would like to run a very basic one in-game now. I go to tools > export > do all export > mange exports and click Start Export. But I get errors and it fails:

No lightmap atlas found...
"Failed to find lightmap-atlas info for model..." (says this for every model)
No baked lights. Renderer will use default gray light for diffuse.
Job submission process failed...
Failed to submit lightmap layout...

I have no idea what that means.

My level is very basic. A partial room, a monster, 1 static light and a startpoint. I looked at the wiki on levels and lighting and nothing helpful there. Nothing comes up searching either. Has anyone been able to make a level and run it yet?

"Failed to find lightmap-atlas info for model..."

if you run the lightmapper for the first time, the prog only tells you that he hasn´t a lightmap yet.

"No baked lights. Renderer will use default gray light for diffuse."

have you put a static - baked light in you lvl? if not, this error occurs

E: 16:48:44 - Failed to submit lightmap layout [test001]

E: 16:48:44 - Job submission process failed with a return code of '-1073741515'.

W: 16:48:44 - Failed to find lightmap-atlas info for model 'prp_barrel01_0', part '_o1'

Same error I get every time, I have followed every tutorial to the letter and still nothing. The only thing I can think of is, i have a 64bit system and used the 64bit version of python, will this cause a problem?

"E: 16:48:44 - Job submission process failed with a return code of '-1073741515'."

It looks like a definite Python issue, I had similar errors until I went to 2.5.4 Python. What version of Python are you using now?

Also, for the static / baked thing, you need one light with Point - Static light type and another with Ambient - Baked type for each room before lightmap will run.

Also, I have a Ambient baked light as well as the Point static. Even though it says I dont...

It won't work regardless until you have the right Python script. I believe this is the one I use: http://www.python.or...ython-2.5.4.msi

It's the 32bit version, which I believe is what's needed for it to work.

*Edit*

You may need this too: http://sourceforge.n....5.exe/download

Looks like it worked, the failed to find lightmap-things just mean they weren't lightmapped before.

It says it was successful.

Ignore the lightmap-atlas messages. They don't matter.

Nevermind, for some reason when you define the start file in the "New Room" properties field it doesnt work. After removing that it complied just fine, thanks again for all your help!

Just want to say thanks Driggan, as even though I was using the 32bit version I was still having the problem and spent the last week trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with my level, finally decided to see if this was a toolset bug rather then user error, did a search for any other reported problems like mine.

Changed from 3.1.1 to 2.5.4 and used the second download you recommended, and problem solved!

Very much appreciated.
