apparently, Bioware almost never checks this forum to see if any problems are brought up. Of course, there is not very much activity at all, a dozen posts a day, maybe. pretty lame

The nature of the Social Forum site is that Dragon Age and ME-2 are the "Senior" members. ME-1 was added later, so whatever already existed in the way of requirements to post remained in force when the ME-1 forums on the Legacy site were closed to new replies and new threads. At first, ME-1 questions had to be asked in ME-2 forums, when that happened, and no specific ME-1 forums were in existence yet.
Some two-game forums have never been split back apart, and if it's not happened by now, I don't suppose that it will ever happen.
