I beat the game on normal with a ME1 imported toon. Now on hardcore mode while in the loading screen for jacob's loyalty mission the game crashes. Any help would be great.

Nash,
As a test disable your sound card in device manager and see what happens. I've had several issues with Kernal_Mode failures, crashes, and lockups which I've traced using debug to the drivers for the XFi series cards from creative. The current drivers for Windows 7 are just not stable and when disabled the issue I was having disappeared. My system is VERY simular to yours and I am using the same sound card. Both Creatives and Daniel K's drivers produced the same results.
