I'm not a fan of the helmet, but since the armor is modular; that's ok

Bioware should make all the previous armors also modular.

All this new Armor DLC makes me wish there were more slots so you could have more customization of armor pieces. Like the Hip-mounted power pack should be seperate from your legs armor.

Anyway, this looks like a great bit of DLC and for a reasonably low price.

How the hell that thing increases headshot damage?

I would prefer these equipment upgrades to be integrated into a mission DLC, such as Overlord. IMHO, it would be much more satisfying.

I like this armour. The price isn't that steep, but I do think the whole pricing structure that EA / Bioware uses at the moment is a bit weird.

I mean, this kinda stuff is VERY cheap to develop for Bioware. It can't take that long. You have the potential to price is very low and make money by volume, since the development cost and time is almost negligible. At the same time, something MUCH more expensive and time consuming to develop like, say, Overlord, isn't that much more expensive.

I think they could have charged more for Overlord given it's high quality and should be charging less for armour add-ons. These are non essential and add nothing to story or the overall game. It's about taste and personalisation. Basically Bioware's "Horse Armour". I won't stop buying this stuff, but I think as it stands the "value for money" is definitely skewed on the illogical side of things.

Before someone mentions it, I'm going to say it doesn't look that bad on a female Shepard in actuality. :)

I think this has prompted me to install Overlord and give it a try.

I already got the rifle, but its a sweet deal that bioware finally listened to what fans wanted. We wanted pieces not the full armor. Now if we could just do that with the other armor sets we own. lol. I would go gaga and I'm not talking lady!

I think if Bioware was still independent then we'd probebly get all these armor and squad outfits for free on the Cerberus Network but because EA is not in control of all their marketing they're making em put a price on this stuff.

That's just my geuss ofcorse.  I hope they still plan on releasing more free DLC but as a "Thank your for your continued support!" thing.

This is cool. I'm still wanting them to mass release the Terminus Armor and Singularity gun, though...

so what's next? will they release collector's armor and weapon which I already have now? I already have M-29 incisor rifle. I remember that inferno armor was the same before which I already have. I don't like what they do this way. just give me totally new weapons which never known before. new armor is good that I didn't expect.

The Incisor Rifle purchasable and downloadble for all. Who would've though that, Javier?

Er, what? The weapon and armor motivated you to get the DLC with a story and missions? Not the other way around?

Uh, if they do, and it's just the rifle+armor and nothing else, then don't buy it. If it's not just the rifle+armor, and you don't like whatever extras are thrown in, then don't buy that.

I already have M-29 incisor rifle.

Yeah, but plenty do not.  And many, many people really wanted it too.

I remember that inferno armor was the same before which I already have.

And plenty of people did not.  Granted, I don't think the demand for it was all that high.

I don't like what they do this way.

OK.

Umm, Arc Projector? That one was free. As was the Eviscerator shotgun.  The Locust SMG, too, which while not free came with Kasumi (and thus a new bonus power), a new casual outfit and an entire mission, so can't really fault it for costing money.  And seriously: how many more frickin' weapons do we really need?  Especially heavy weapons.  The only really deficient category is pistols.

new armor is good that I didn't expect.

Well you should have since you obviously know about the Equalizer Pack.  It came with 2 additional visors (yeah, I know: they weren't particularly great, but they weren't totally horrible either. At the very least, the capacitor helm is good for a laugh).

But let's actually think about this for a sec.  We have three 160 BW/MS point packages that have been released so far:

Alt. Appearance 1: 3 purely cosmetic (and rather lackluster) outfits.  Best feature is non-ruined Garrus armor.

Equalizer: Inferno Armor, Capacitor helmet, Archon visor.  Decidedly "meh".

Aegis: Incisor Rifle, Kestrel helmet, Kestrel chestplate, Kestrel gauntlets, Kestrel pauldrons, Kestrel belt-thingy.

The Aegis pack is clearly the best two bucks you can currently spend on ME2, and 5/6ths of it is brand new stuff.  What's more, they did exactly what tons of people had been pestering them to do, practically since release:

a. Allow them to buy the Incisor
b. Make a full armor set that used the modular N7 system.

As far as the small DLCs go, this is clearly progress.  We can only hope we get more 160 point packs like this.

It's apparently got all sorts of external micro-cameras, groovy image processing, targeting software, and a cool HUD display inside.

Yeah nah it looks good on FemShep, she doesn't look like some cyborg, automaton, astonaut, motorized killer (unless she's also wearing the helmet)

I'm reading John Steakley's Armor at the moment... and this stuff is very much the image I have in my mind of those powered armour suits they wear in the novel. Cool beans.

I still prefer the Stimulator Conduits and the headshot visor, but I've upgraded from everything else.

BioWare, please put some effort into the female versions of these armors so that they look somewhat designed for a female body type, rather than just having the armor map itself to the shape of a woman's hips (slightly).

I mean, I dont need giant golliath ****** moulds or anything, but the crotch bulge here is going a bit too far, kay?
