How the hell that thing increases headshot damage?

It's apparently got all sorts of external micro-cameras, groovy image processing, targeting software, and a cool HUD display inside.

That's what I immediately thought too....Didnt think it needed explanation.  But obviously, some folks arent very "tech savy" I guess eh? Hehe.

I found bug. when I wear this armor, helmet, then go for Tali loyalty mission, helmet is not that one. it's normal N7 helmet. so I try another mission like firewalker. the result is the same. I don't understand why it is happened. does anybody happen the same thing?

Ummmmmmmm.....It's not a bug....It happens in ALOT of areas.  Particularly in areas such as the Migrant Fleet, (Where you need a closed in Helm to prevent the spred of your "germs" or whatnot I presume) and any other Mission that requires you to be in a low/no oxygen area.  Since the helm does NOT support it's own breathing apparatus, the default N7 Helm is used.  Again, NOT a bug just a design oversight on Bio's behalf.

Even though that's obviously infiltrator armour, I'm getting it for the looks alone.

so if Bioware is really care about that kind of detail, why don't they fix easy graphic glitch or other bugs like hanging on the air? I am not sure but how do you know that N7 helmet is only one to let you breath? as far as I know, other helmets have the same mechanism. if they don't have that important option, it doesn't make any sense to battle in hostile environment. I don't think that it is normal. it is kind of bug.

Who said only N7?  I told you earlier in this thread that it's either the N7 Breather, Recon Hood, or Death Mask, and Aradace didn't say "only N7" either. The N7 Breather is the default, and that's what you'll switch to if you're not wearing one of those other two helmets.  That's NOT the same thing as "only".  Oh, and the fact that completely unrelated stuff has bugs? Not relevant in the least.

if they don't have that important option, it doesn't make any sense to battle in hostile environment.

You're right, it doesn't make sense: that's exactly why you can't use any of the non-face-covering headgear in hostile environments.

I don't think that it is normal. it is kind of bug.

You're welcome to think what you like, but it's very consistent: if the helmet covers the whole face, you can use it in hostile
environments.  Otherwise, you cannot, and you'll automatically use the N7 Breather instead. Think about it: what was Bioware supposed to do with stuff like the Kuwashii Visor?  There has to be a default for hostile environments. Since the N7 Breather is the only one everybody is always going to own, that's the only reasonable choice.

Consider that many other Mass Effect characters can survive hostile environments such as a vacuum with only a breather.

Yeah, but that doesn't have much to do with Shep.  They don't even wear armor, most of 'em, so expecting Shep to behave the same as squadmates when it comes to head gear doesn't follow.   We also get more squad points than they do, we can't directly control them, they have an infinite supply of thermal clips, and they don't have casual outfits.  Point being Shep behaves consistently, and a lot of the squadmate stuff makes no sense.

This rifle is weak but at the early stages of the game (you get it pretty much right away) it is incredible. Smoked through Garrus and Mordin's recruitment missions in record time with it. 3-shot bursts to the head are very satisfying until you get better options (i.e. Widow)

Would like to add my two cents about the cost on this.
I am a new ME2 player, and just bought the game a week or so ago after trying out the demo. At the time, i decided after buying the game, to buy the DLC available, purchased $20 dollars in Biopoints, and DL Overlord,Alt. Appearance Pack, Kasumi, and all the others available(the Cerebus network came with the game purchase, so need to rebuy).

After all the DLC, i was left with EXACTLY 160 pts left.

Guess how much the Aegis Pack cost?

Perfect.

And the armor IS awesome. I was fond of the Cerebus armor, but i enjoy this.
As for the Helmet, and how it helps incerease headshots, it is obviously a HUD display from Sheppard's POV, which probably gives him advanced targeting and aim (think ala Iron Man the movie).

Ok, so it didn't leave you with any loose change. But that doesn't mean it's good value for money. If you have $25000 to spend on a car in credit, and the car costs $24,850, then buying some plastic seat covers that look cool but are very cheap, yet cost $150 will make it so you've used it all up, but it doesn't make them worth the cost and it doesn't make the cost make sense. See?

I like the incisor  because - for whatever reason - it is the only sniper rifle in the game that doesn't have auto aim.  Now when I scope the gun I'm looking at who or what I wanted to be looking at.  It is clearly not as poweful as the widow but I actually enjoy the three shot knock back effect - it looks cool and it's easy to use the weapon unscoped up close.  Another advantage is if you are shooting something like a Krogan you can empty the whole clip without taking much return fire since the knock back effect really diminishes the return fire.  It sounds cool and has a nice rumble on the controller.  If I could only have one gun I'd take the widow but this weapon is a nice change and more of challenge to use effectively, I'm glad they included it.

I get sick very quickly of the poor ammo efficiency the Incisor has. Pick up a thermal clip, you get like 3 rounds. Constantly running out of ammunition for it.

I dislike the concept of getting these very good items straight away. They should have put some effort and created an assignment or at least a purchasing quest.

the helmet maybe, maybe, but the rest imply Vanguard,  Shields, weapon damage, and melee.   When was the last time a sniper required that much shielding for when they got up in their target's face used melee?

Actually, if you read "carefully" I NEVER said it was ONLY the N7 breather helm that does that....I merely said it is the DEFAULT helm they give you when your current helm doesnt support it's own "breathing apparatus".  Please, PLEASE read more carefully before you assume something.

Yeah, I should have made it clear I always mod ammo on my guns as I find looking for ammo after virtually every fight destroys my immersion in the game.

So...the Incisor is still a beastly gun for teammates. Good god, Garrus + Zaeed = complete and utter mauling. I swear they get more damage than I do.

That armor looks awesome, especially the helmet.

Now if only I wasn't too lazy to buy the DLC's... I'll get to it eventually, though.

The "problem" with the customable armour is the illusion of choice. Picking out the optimal armour set-up is a no-brainer. It should not be this way. Also getting the Kestrel armour parts right off make all full body suits worthless at  the start of a new game.

A complete rebalancing of armour parts is in order,  won't happen as ME2 has already made it's fortune, but hopefully
will be addressed in ME3.
