I don't care.
When the 'surprises' we get are:
-appearance packs (which would never have happened with customizable squad armor)
-Bazaar that I am absolutely not interested in, and in fact find mildly morally objectionable
-Shepard armor without helmet toggle (I'm sooo sorry, but I think I am rightly put off when Shepard takes a drink through a helmet)
-Weapons that cost, though they should have been in the game in the first place
I just can't get excited anymore.
It really would have to be:
-Mass Effect 2 expansion-type deal
-Jade Empire 2 (though I'm not particularly interested)
I've played some Dragon Age. Don't like it so much. If it was DA2, then ok cool. Not getting it though.
If its Old Republic related, I'll just be like 'ok, good'. Not surprised. Not even excited. Just glad more info is coming out.
Why so pessimistic? The appearance packs were a great addition. And only like $2 so who cares?
As for Bazaar, why get angry just because they had a contest for America only? What happens when Square Enix releases their games in Japan months in advance of the American or European release? What about when Japan gets the new PS3's before anyone else? Big deal. Thats life. It's not as if they said they weren't going to have a contest for the rest of the community. They postponed it.
As for the toggle-able helmets. This isn't Mass Effect 1. This is Mass 2. ALL armor customization and tweaking is done in the captains cabin. And it makes sense also. If you take off your helmet, where is it? Does it disappear and then reappear when you want it to? And I've heard about the "collapsable" helmets, but do you have any idea how many permutations of that they'd have to make for each helmet and torso pairing? Not to mention if new helmets or chest pieces come out.
Now in regards to the guns. How do you know that the guns included in DLC are supposed to be in game? We have too many guns in my opinion. Way too many. I'm hoping that that M5 pistol, and whatever other gun may come with it, are the last of the weapons in the game. I, and many other fans, would like to see some quality DLC like the armor pack that was just released yesterday, and the Overlord and Kasumi packs.
So stop complaining and be grateful that we're actually getting support for this game. My only worry is that I might not have enough hdd space to hold all of the DLC.
