DA 2 would be a rush job in Bioware's hand sure.



But 2 year cycles aren't that bad for competent developers, like Insomniac. But that is churning out the same thing over and over again.



Bioware would almost be like Valve except Bioware rushes almost everything except the one game they get accused of rushing oddly enough.



If DA 2 uses the same engine of Origins it won't be a rush job (also the real work on Origins didn't take as long as people said, most of that early stuff was scrapped, it would be like saying Prey had a dedicated 8 year dev cycle when it really was only like 2).



But if it is a newly built engine, expect it to be just as buggy as DA 1.

i'm betting it's a beta for Kotor. Christina Norman has been playing the game, she's tweeted about it, so it's obviously in a testing phase of some sort.

If it's Dragon Age 2, then I shall double my efforts to play Dragon Age: Origins. I bought it a few weeks ago, and have played a few hours of it. I'm enjoying it, but so far I'm not exactly enthralled.



Maybe I just need to learn how to play it properly.

I think they learnt their lesson from that one, don't expect them to hype the fans up unless they have a decent payoff

Meh DA2 not really interested then and not a awesome thing for this Bioware fan. I bought the first game but I just got bored of it half way through. It never gripped me or seemed as "epic" as Mass Effect and the characters just had no spark to them.

I am fully prepared to soak in the disappointment that they will canonize the DR, sure it will make a joke of the storyline but whatever they can do what they want. I just probably won't buy it day one.

Dragon Age is a slow burn fantasy game. Mas Effect is a fast pase science fiction game.
