bleh, was hopin ME2 expansion. Didn't really have too much fun on DAO even tho i was super hyped for it.

Anyways, I've learned from BioWare's last "epic" announcement not to expect much of anything when they tell us we should get excited.

Not really.....the websites only reach hardcore gamers of many genres(shooters, racing RPG...etc) and tastes so only a small faction will be really be interested in DAO. These are the people that will find out about the game no matter if you announce it on an isolate island with just one witness......so not much is gained there. Their goal is to reach much larger audiences and inform the more casual RPG gamer that usually find out about games when they see them on store shelves....the ones that don't read the gaming news and blogs.....these are the ones they want hyped and these are the ones that generate millions of sales as opposed to a few hundred thousand sales.

You know, this could be a trailer with a 'we'll reveal more at the next big event/convention thing' at the end. Bungie just released a trailer today revealing that Reach will have a remake of the classic map Blood Gulch (hallelujah, I am so excited now) and you'll be able to go outside of the canyon that's in the map. They then ended the trailer by saying "go beyond the canyon at Comic-con". Something like that.

Fingers crossed for DA2. I know I should expect to be let down, but I can't help but feel a bit excited. Actually, I'm totally psyced, not gonna lie.

Not really.....all Kotaku says is what EA said and even admits development of DA2 is far from being news to anyone. Nowhere does Kotaku claim to have solid knowledge that DA2 will be announced tomorrow.

I would love if it was DA2 but I would prefer a second expansion first; I want DA2 to be the same length and bargain for money as DA:O was.

And the fact that they used the number 2 in the word says an awful lot.

Count me in on this as well. A Morrigan DLC or Expansion would be the absolute best thing they could possibly do.
