 Ok, so I have completed Feros, Noveria, a few assignments and Garrus's mission but I can't do Wrex's? I have the mission but I can't find the Phoenix system in Argus Rho... Does anyone know how to fix it? Do I have to complete some assignments before it or do I have to do something else?

I can't even find the system where I do the assignment, there is only one system for me in Argus Rho.

Argus Rho is supposed to have three systems: Gorgon, Hydra, and Phoenix. The Phoenix system is supposed to be in the far upper left. Some systems have a prerequisite before they show up on your map (Gorgon does), but Phoenix is not supposed to be one of them. It's even the system where Pinnacle Station takes place, it should always be available to you.

I've never heard of this happening, but perhaps they actually closed off the system to you because you've been given the Virmire mission by now? Wrex's family armor is supposed to lead to an alternate method of settling the argument with him on Virmire, so perhaps getting that mission closed off the ability to do that quest. But I've never heard of that happening.

I have the Virmire mission but I haven't landed there, but do you have to do Wrex's mission before you get the Virmire mission?

If you can't find the Phoenix system, I'm suspecting that might be the reason why you can't find it, to keep you from doing Wrex's mission. But if you have the Pinnacle Station DLC, no way they would have closed off the system to you. I don't really think that's the answer. I'm as perplexed as you are why the system wouldn't show up. Maybe reload and see if it was just a glitch?

I've had this problem for quite som time even with reloads but I don't have Pinnacle Station, is the quest only avaliable for those with the DLC?

No, the quest has always been available to me, but Pinnacle Station just happens to be in the same system. Do you have a save game from before you finished the second planet? Then you could check if the Phoenix system was available earlier in the game.

No, I kept everything in a single save... But is it still possible to keep Wrex from being shot without haveing completed the quest?

Yes, you need a Charm/Intimidate 8 points. Or, since you don't have Liara, if you also don't have Garrus, Wrex will automatically live as well.

So as long as I have 8 Charm he's going to make it? I have every squadmember so I can't use that method.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I did an internet search because I am having the same problem as mentioned above and it lead me here. Being a member of the board I figure I could just ask.

So, I cant find the Phoenix system. But for me it's not that I want to help Wrex, although I will, I am looking for the Asari Writings, one of which is in the Phoenix system. Also the Cacus system in the Hades Gamma cluster is not there.

I know it's a glitch cause I have gone to these places in past playthroughs. Anyone know how to fix this. I want those Writings for ME3.

Possible solution: I thought I had the above problem as well; however, the problem actually was that the Phoenix system in the upper-ish left of the screen blends in really well with the dust/gas in the system. Move your mouse around up there and see if the problem is perhaps you're just not seeing it, because of how well the indicator is camouflaged in the background.

That's what happened to me, anyway. And, yes, I had already completed much of the main story, but not yet landed on Virmire.
