This appears to be a different problem from those who are saying the DlC is "unauthorized" (I see many of those) so I'm starting a new thread.

It took a boatload of time to download the Lel Song DlC - this was the slowest download I ever saw. BTW, I have also never had a problem installing previous DlC (although I skipped DC and FdP).

Boy was I pissed -- the Provacateur Armor has installed but the "main" DlC will not.

The DlC shows it is 100% downloaded but now it says "Install Failed". I can't get it to install. I've retried several times and it won't. Under Downloaded content it appears in red and there's a little red ankh or something in the Installed Content pane.

When I click on it to see why this is the case, the only clue is that it shows "game version 1.03 required" and the 1.03 is in red.

But here is what is royally pissing me off: I have patch 1.03 downloaded and installed, since I've been playing Awakening for a while. I have never retro'd -- patch 1.03 is still installed.

So why the frack will this DlC not install? The reason it says it can't/won't is BOGUS.

Never mind. For whatever odd reason, when I restarted, reloaded the game -- it extracted itself & installed just fine.

This same thing happened to me. It also happened with Darkspawn Chronicles. But with Darkspawn Chronicles I exited the program and reinstalled patch 1.03 and then it worked just fine after I restarted the game. But with this Dlc it did not work the first time and when I tried again, the Dlc left my Download in Progress page and does not appear on my installed program page or in other Campaigns. I tried setting my online options to automatically download purchased but not installed content and that appeared to make no difference. I'm not sure how to get it to install now.

Wish mine would be nice and do that, all it does for me is attempt to extract, or just start the download over again. I can't even manually install it, i end up getting the windows error message.

 I actually downloaded and installed mine manually just because BUT all 3 of the Leliana DLCs have been stuck at 0% ever since I purchased them.
What I actually want to do is remove them from the list and stop completely, but nothing that I try seems to work...

I downloaded the addon on xbox, but whenever i click play now it tells me "to use this game play the game it was downloaded for" so i put in the dragon age disc and clicked play now but i was told the same thing, so then i went into the game and was told the downloadable content was corrupt and couldnt be used and to re-download it so i did and the same thing happened... what is wrong and what do i do?

A XBox version of a Dragon Age DLC cannot be used on PC.
