Do yo think romance dialogs in ME2 are weaker that ME1?

I wonder what you guys/ girls think of this? Do you think this is a valid point where BW has to consider in ME3?

we were talking about her sister and then in the next dialogue option, BAM, I'm saying I know she wants it. wtf. no witty banter. no flirt. no foreplay.
And then for like 5 straight missions, I'm trying to get more dialogue from Miranda and she keeps saying that she'll be around next time things are quiet. And my Shepard like an idiot goes, "Oh yeah, I'm DEFINITELY interested." like 5 times. There should be an option that after hearing this 3 times, Shepard should have enough renegade or paragon points to say, "captains quarters NOW".

Miranda: You love me.
Shep: I love y-?
Miranda: Yep you do...RIGHT?
Shep: Hell yes, I love you.
Miranda: Thought so...

Jack: Shepard, what do you want from me? If it is just for the sex than bring it.
Shapard: Yep, I want me some sex...
Jack: Come here than
wtf, why the hell did that happen?

It's understandable though, as BioWare places more focus on getting to know the characters rather than just having Shepard fall in love with everyone he sees.
Also, obligatory dialogue list:

I for one thought Liara's dialogue was basically: "Hey I like you, let's screw, but let's wait a bit first". Though Ashley's was better
However, Jack's romance is far better written than any ME1 romance. And Tali's or Garrus' romance doesn't feel in the least bit rushed as they were introduced in ME1. Miranda's was basically similar to Liara's

If you understood Jack's character you'd know why this happened (I'm not gonna bother explaining), however that's not her romance, just a flingrabidhanar wrote...

The only one that creeped me out from the first game was Liara's, she seemed really obsessive and wanted to get in my pants after only 2 conversations. I don't want to meet her in a dark alley.mrsph wrote...
It was largely the same in Mass Effect. Hell, I specifically remember Ashley, Kaidan, and Liara only having 2-3 conversations if you didn't romance them.

Jacks romance complete line adds maybe one more conversation to her set. that is three conversations to go intimate, you realistically tell me this can happen. Any relationship in game needs to have more interactions to develop than shepard just recruited x party member, now character y loves him/her more. At least with dragon age origins you had to know somethings about the characters (i.e. don't give morrigin holy based items, ogrin loves alcohal) and a relationship can be brought up slowly throughout the game. Also, in dragon age I do not feel creeped out when I first talk to a male character (Jacob anyone?)
DAO's romances are better written, but the approval system ruins everything since I can do all dialogue options in one dialogue (thus getting my approval +50) and never talk to my LI again (I slept with Morrigan before going to Lothering and never spoke to her again except during her quest) and that ruins any kind of progression (Leliana fell in love with me in less than an hour after I spammed her with gifts). ME's romances were more gradual for me

And that's why I like it, because it's a "romance" without the pretense of true love after a few short conversations. In contrast to Liara, who practically faints the second you show any interest in her, I'd say it's an improvement.
The funny thing is that there are people who, I'm sure, hate Miranda's romance for the exact same reasons.
EDIT: For the record, I'm not particularly against a "true love oh my god Shepard have my babies" type of romance, but I think it should be damn difficult to achieve - taking more than just spamming the upper right hand conversation option. I also think it should take more than a conversation after the loyalty mission to initiate.

Seriously, in my last ME1 playthough I was literally locked into a romance with Ashley and not even going full renegade on her would break the romance since all of the dialog options continued it.
Got lucky and being a completely ass to her at the locker scene broke the romance off, but that was an unpleasant experience considering how I wasn't interested and the game wasn't letting me say no while ME2 has a clear point where you say yes or no to the romance.

Nah !!! I prefer Miranda over Ashley. But I know Mirandas' dialog options (romance) are shallow than Ashleys'.
