In my Origin Story there's a child with Godly Powers on the loose, so there could be chance the PC from Part 2 is this kid

Personally I would like to play as a new character and have a new adventure while seeing the effects my warden character had on the world.
I think this is what I hope for as well

.
Also, while this may be a very girly thing to say, I hope they keep romances available.

I think 'sequel' is the wrong word for this. It's another story in the same universe, but it isn't a sequel.
This.
I am sad I won't be able to talk to Leli anymore.

Yeah...
We still have her in DA:O though!

I like the "Half Life" ideal and having our warden appear as an NPC either int he beginning or down the road would be awesome. And instead of a straight port of our warden, have some of those attributes/skill affect the beginning or some parts of a story where as a new game wouldn't see anything affect as much.

I don't beleive there will be any Origins, possibly the abillitiy to pick either male of female of whatever race (presumabally human from the picutre) to play through.
Not having the origins would leave more room for dialougue with a single player through the game so perhaps we might see an even bigger gameworld.
Whatever happens I'm happy enough that there is a Dragon Age 2 and I hope there the is the same quality of story & lore that they have so far as it's been awesome.

As bioware are known for the hints, I'm sure people have noticed this already but right behind the PC art on the DA2 a dragon looks to be intently springing from behind him, might be a subliminal hint as to what he might be as the dragon seem so to be foreshadowing. Also his right hand (on the left) which also is shaped claws.
I'd guess it's Morigans Kid / Spirit of Urthemiel (wither he realises is another question)

I'd rather keep my DA characters for DA2. Starting with a new one is OK, too, but continuity rules.
That, or I hope they release a second expansion and give some sort of closure to the story.
This. I want to use my DA characters in DA2, too, especially my female Dalish. Her romance with Alistair ended sourly in DA1, and then there was no Awakening romance to make her (and me!) feel better. And then, on top of everything else, her epilogue said, basically, "Oh, she left the Grey Wardens, never to be seen again."
No. Nuh-uh. Just NO. BioWare pulled that crap with Revan (particularly female ones), and I'm already resentful of that. And for another thing, I doubt most of our Wardens would just *leave*. You do not abandon your duty. You remain ever watchful. "In peace, vigilance," remember? So yes, I need some closure.
I'm not trying to complain. I'm trying to show that I always have extremely high expectations of BioWare games, and that I am always, always wary of sequels, no matter the form. It always seems to follow that, in some way, the sequel is never as good as the original. Never ever. BioWare devs, PLEASE, prithee, prove me wrong!
That said, I have a strong gut feeling that we're going to hear from the god-baby again, despite the fact that that was only one method of killing the Archdemon. No writer worth their weight in ink would pitch an idea like that of the god-baby and then just leave it as a minor mention.

You remain watchful of Darkspawn. So far, Darkspawn have not been confirmed for DA2.
Also, the 'crap' with Revan was Obsidian, not Bioware.

Here they talk about a different part of the world altogether, so I doubt we will see ANY character from Origins: http://gameinformer....0_Revealed.aspx
This new premise seems sort of borrowed from games like Fable and even Baldurs Gate (an unknown underdog who raises to fame and power). As long as they make interesting characters and compelling story, Im OK, and its always nice to see a change rather tnan just "more of the same". Im sure they will still launch new DLCs for some characters (Morrigan story is a must) for the people that still want to dwell on Ferelden... :-)

Well, we don't know anything about DA2 (not too much anyways). So I'll sit back and wait for more info.

But. They always stated that our choices matter, that warden's story isn't over, yadda-yadda. Awakening and that situation with ultimate sacrifice showed that that statements were kinda false, but I still had high hopes for the sequel.
And now I learn about pre-determined human character. Ack. My warden's story wasn't complete. There were so much to explore - continuing relationships with companions, romance with Alistair. They could revamped combat system, send our warden to far away land - that would be fresh experience and great sequel material. Instead we got "OH HAI YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN UR DUTY AND VANISHED. ALSO DED".
I understand that we have too little information at the moment, but it certainly seems that there would be forced continuity. And I always hated it in the sequels. Especially sequels of games that make such huge emphasis on choices and consequences.
