It's probably way too early for developer feedback on most of these questions, but my curiosity demands I ask...

Will Dragon Age 2 be like Dragon Age: Origins or darker? One thing thing I disliked about Origins is how easy it was to get out of certain quests scott free. For example, a certain decision involving possession. I would like to see fewer decisions with a clear heroic choice.

Can we expect any new classes? I imagine new specializations, spells, and talents are a given.

Are we playing another Grey Warden or is our heroine/hero a free agent?

Will the dialogue follow Origins or Awakening in style?

Does Dragon Age 2 utilize the same engine as Dragon Age? It's way too early to expect specs recommendations, but I'm curious. ;)

When and where does Dragon Age 2 take place?

Can I be a female Dwarf?

That's all I need to know.

I'd like to know about the classes mainly.

I'd like to know if we are getting companions again and who. However, I just have a feeling no matter what they tell people about them there will be an uproar.

Unknown at this point.

From what is written on the official DA2 website, there will be 3 classes like in Origins: warrior, mage and rogue.

Unknown at this time.

Judging from the darkspawn on the cover, we could easily play a character who becomes a Grey Warden, just like in Origins.

Nothing official on this, but David Gaider did say they'll most likely try to create dialogue that is a mix of what came in Origins and Awakening.
No idea if they actually went through with that.

My guess would be they'll use the improved version of the old engine. We won't know for sure until we see some actual ingame footage.

No idea at this time, other than the fact it takes place outside Ferelden.

Judging by what is said on the official site, I assume there's only one Origin (or more precisely, no origins at all, just one path to start the story), but is there still the possibility to play a protagonist of either gender? I see it's all male hero on the site, à la Sheploo, but I hope it doesn't mean we're stuck with that.

Those are darkspawn on the cover? They look more like ravenous corpses IMO.

This month's Game Informer Magazine has a huge article with screenshots and interviews with Mark Darrah, Mike Laidlaw, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuck. I can't promise all of your questions will be answered, but I can promise that you will find a ton of new DA2 info in it that you will want to know.

Keep your eyes out for Game Informer Magazine with this cover: http://gameinformer....0_Revealed.aspx for all the cool news. Subscribers will get it very soon with it hitting store shelves on July 19 ( I think).

Awesome. I never buy magazines, but they scored a winner with that cover story. That's a must-have.

Question: Will DA:2 continue the DA:1 DLC? The ending of Awakenings can have some...consequences for future blights. And will choices from DA:1 carry over? About who rules the land etc?

...will there be VA for the main protagonist or is it still in the traditional style...

(i mean DA's conversation depth is a lot of work if they include VA. i can hope?)

My guess is that one of the main reasons as to why they are no longer going with origins and pretty much decide who you start as with is to be able to voice all dialogue

I've got a few questions,

1. Why was Sandal surrounded by darkspawn corpses?

2. What is Morrigan planing with the kid?

3. Did my warden die or what? All it said was that he vanished.

4. Who ends up with Vigilance?

5. Can we effect the world of dao2 with dao data at all, even a little bit?

6. Where did the "romance" option go in awakening? And will it be in dao2

I think they didn't include one was because they didn't have the time to. Romance options exist in almost every Bioware game, so you can pretty much assume a few will show up in DA2.

Well, the warden didn't have time to. He was on a very urgent mission after all.
