I have a question. I don't think it will get answered so soon but whatever

When does the story of this game takes place in relation to DAO?

a) Before DAO

B) During DAO

c) After DAO and/or Awakenings

d) All of the above

I'd really like d)

I've got a few questions,

1. Why was Sandal surrounded by darkspawn corpses?
5. Can we effect the world of dao2 with dao data at all, even a little bit?

honestly i think it will probably just be nothing more than a vague mention of the warden defeating the archdemon

sandal.. i dont know anyone who experienced that scene and wasnt stopped in their tracks. its been suggested before by people but i do wonder if hes "the maker"

Will Dragon Age 2 be like Dragon Age: Origins or darker? One thing thing I disliked about Origins is how easy it was to get out of certain quests scott free. For example, a certain decision involving possession. I would like to see fewer decisions with a clear heroic choice.

I agree, one of the things Throne of Bhaal (The Baldur's Gate 2 Expansion) did that I liked was it offered very nice rewards for evil, and made it a challenge to be good, it was the idea that being good was it's own reward. I usually play a good character first time through, but I usually find it frustrating in games of late that there are few real dark choices with consequence.

In people recall the Dragon Age trailers early on, we constantly got shown the seen with the Ashes, I won't spoil it for anyone, but people know that the options there are not really as dramatic as bioware made them out to be. I'd prefer some dramatic choices.

I just really want to know if it's going to be an open world, and not point-to-point map navigation.. Kinda lose a little bit of that sense of immersion when you can't walk from one town to the next.

This month's Game Informer Magazine has a huge article with screenshots and interviews with Mark Darrah, Mike Laidlaw, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuck. I can't promise all of your questions will be answered, but I can promise that you will find a ton of new DA2 info in it that you will want to know.

Keep your eyes out for Game Informer Magazine with this cover: http://gameinformer....0_Revealed.aspx for all the cool news. Subscribers will get it very soon with it hitting store shelves on July 19 ( I think).

The check from gameinformer is in the mail, I assume? :wizard:

Regarding one of the OP's questions, something tells me the dialogue system in Leliana's Song is  similar to what we will get in DA2.  A drastic cut down in options. :crying:

6. Where did the "romance" option go in awakening? And will it be in dao2

I think they didn't include one was because they didn't have the time to. Romance options exist in almost every Bioware game, so you can pretty much assume a few will show up in DA2.

Well, the warden didn't have time to. He was on a very urgent mission after all.

Ending a blight wasn't urgent?

Just so you know, most of the time when we use the 1st as a date, it's a placeholder until an actual date has been yet. DA2 isn't streetdated, so it could be before or after that date. Also remember that new games release on Tuesdays.
