Interesting lore but overall disappointing in terms of new areas, exploration, weapons, armor and general diversity, not worth the money sorry, I guess all the development has shifted onto DAO:2 now anyway.

i disagree. i think it was a lot of fun. it was nice getting a look into leliana's past. i'd like to see some more of these. i think a shale dlc about her past would be great.

I realled liked it. :D I want more prequels, maybe a warrior (Logain?) and a mage one (Wynne), well they feel like the two best ones to me.

Unlock a unique reward that transfers into your Awakening and Origins campaign.

I guess that would be the, looks exactly like light armor renamed as, Battledress of the Provocateur. The only thing unique about it is how its stats drop when you use it in DAO.

I enjoyed Lelianas story, clearly effort went into some parts of it's production.

Just finished it myself.

Very good, highly enjoyable DLC. I took 4 hours according to my stat sheet, and I wasn't trying to prolong it, just playing at my normal pace.

The voice acting was excellent. The new music was great. The story was interesting, and yes, there was a lot of dialogue.

This was a different side of Leliana in her pre-Chantry days. It will make me enjoy her character more during the regular DA:O play-throughs.

Well done Bioware! Easily worth $7!

Oh, and I did not experience a single crash/bug/etc.

Taken purely on its own merits, it was worth the price. Fun, well-written, well balanced -- well directed cut-scenes, to boot.

As an expansion of the main game, however, it failed. As I said in another thread:

"...it takes an event Leliana told the PC about once she had finally come to trust him/her and then changes it completely.   I mean, seriously, I totally understand that it's easier for BioWare to reuse area environments from the main game. I totally understand the need/desire to set the game in Ferelden. That's not a problem. What I don't undestand is why the DLC needed to document that particular event in Leliana's life, and thus utterly rewrite it. Why couldn't it have documented on of Leliana's other adventures? One that she hadn't discussed with the PC at length in the main game, huh?

As someone who definitely is a "story first" gamer when it comes to BioWare's titles, I can't care about characters if I know the details of their backstory can and will change on a whim. And, sadly, it's become clear that they're not as concerned with maintaining a tight continuity as I'd like them to be."

Though, if the majority of the fanbase didn't even notice, then more power to them, I guess. <_<

This was terrible. I guess for $5 you can't expect much, but this sucked hard.

I want to play but am unsure if you can play it through the awakening expansion pack disk as I don't have origin anymore.

Really good DLC. It was something different which is what I want to see with each of the short campaigns. If they're all the same, they'll get boring very quick. First thing I was really impressed by was the music; just perfect for the objective and environment of the game, and the voice-acting was top notch as well. I honestly expected it to be lame until I saw the trailer but I was pleasantly surprised by the originality and the excellent storytelling. I can understand gripes from hardcore players but I am quite happy with these $5 guilty pleasure purchases.

Well we got Leliana's backstory....perhaps now we could get one for Zevran's life. If Leliana's is called Leliana's Song, we can call the Zevran one Zevran's Backstab! :D

They already recounted some of Zevran's past adventures in the game. Taking one of them (the Prince's one would be particularly tasty) and turning it into a 2 hours DLS should be fairly easy. I, for one, would buy a Zev DLC right away, without even thinking about waiting for some review (which I did for LS, after the huge disappointment of Darkspawn Chronicles).

Actually, considering highly promiscuous Zev's dialoge tree. maybe  BETTER title would be "From Behind, The Zevran Chronicles"...:o

Had this DLC taken place in Orlais instead of Denerim as originally intended I'd have given it an A+. That would have added some snazzy new locations and prevented the continuity conflict with what was said in Origins. Nevertheless I still give it an A-. I agree with those that feel it's the best DLC so far. The voice overs are great. Same goes for the music. The story is well written and has emotional impact. I like it even more than Awakening by virtue of its tighter plot and far fewer bugs.

I did enjoy the DLC for what it was. It sort of irked me that it basically made Leliana more of a liar in Origins because of the storyline in Leliana's Song.

As far as the next one I really agree with Zevran. I'd honestly would like to see the betrayal of the one woman he loved. That could be done just as well as this DLC was.

I think it is more likely that she is lying in Leliana's Song itself.

I'd lie with her :)
