do you think this is her?

It would be cool if she is main antagonist of sequel.

that is definately Morrigan, or atleast to 99% sure

same yellowish eyes, purple lips. clothing style is witch of the wild reminiscent, especially the feather frills around the neck. Personally i dont think she is the antagonist, but will play an important role (perhaps merlin style?)

This makes me sad as  Morrigan was my love intereset in da1, and I wanted to be able to conclude/further pursue that in da2 or atleast an expansion. With a new hero that aint possible.:crying: I guess my warden died of broken heart in the end. :crying::crying::crying:

I think it's definitely Morrigan.

The game says we'll be recruiting powerful allies and what is more powerful than a daughter of an ancient witch-turned- abomination?

It definitely looks like a older verson of Morrigan.

I agree it's sad that our Warden never found her, but who knows what we'll find out in the game itself? We may yet discover what Morrigan's plan was and what happened to the Warden himself.

did none of you see the same White haired woman on the Dragon Age launcher. suppose this isn't Morrigan but some sinister character way up the hierachy akin to Amellyssan in Throne of Bhaal?

that white haired woman on launcher was concept art representation of the mage origins

if its not morrigan then its someone who damn well looks like an older white haired morrigan ;)

Note that Flemeth didn't go white haired, rather changing to gray. Such things are inherited from parents, suppose that "Morri-dad" either doesn't exist or was some demon essence, that ISN'T old Morrigan.

OR they intend Morrigan to be the "evil, Sinister" character turning all the wheels.

She could be Morrigan... But what if the draconic woman is Flemeth's new incarnation instead?

Or possibly, what if she is both Morrigan AND Flemeth's new incarnation?

Flemeth wasnt Morrigans biological parent but a child/babe she had snitched away and reared then (as she had done before so multiple times with other 'daughters' which she then took posssession over)

Its never explicitly said like that but strongly hinted

I hope Morrigan does not make an appearance unless it is a cameo, or if the DR can be switched on or off. Then I think I would go from hating her to liking her again. The DR was just so damn stupid

I'd be quite interested in playing as Morrigan's god child and choosing how I'm going to affect the world. Thought it doesn't seem like that is what is going to happen from what I'm hearing.

Looks like OGB to me. No one knows where he came from, for god's sake.

He's not OGB. A dev just confirmed. That speculation is ended. I already told you guys before.

Do you have a link for that?

This has been mentioned before, but look at Hawke's right hand. I think that this is a hint that Hawke is the OGB, even if it does say that he survived a Blight. Not too many people have some sort of a claw for a hand, although I do hope that any plot revolving around that isn't a copy of District 9.

... I'm not sure that this could be Morrigan.  This person is actually fully clothed while walking around. <.<

I really wanna know who that old chick is.I hope it is Morrigan or her god child. But hey Bioware has already disapointed me by turning Dragon age in to Mass effect. Now we are even going to get this Hawke guys cheesy voice and dialogs.

Im just trying to get some more imformation before I ignore this game completely. So far im not impressed.

The final line for me is. If this game is voiced and the dialogs are like Mass effect I am not buying it. Simple. Just waiting until Bioware confirms that.

Read #3:  He lives in Lothering right before it is destroyed by the Blight.

Guys, Hawke is a contemporary of the PC and his/her group. Hawkes story is 10 years long. Do the math. Morrigan goes to the east (Orlais) and Hawke goes North (not Orlais) so I doubt highly Morrigan will make an appearence.

Since Hawke DOES have to be human and is, to some extent, a defined protagonist... I'm actually a little disappointed that they didn't go with the godbaby story. Maybe DA3, eh?

Can you guys drop the Old God Child? It isn't Hawke since he is not related to Morrigan--already been established in the "things we know" thread or something to that extent. The game spans ten years; although, I don't know how long after Awakening/Origins the game takes place. If it takes place soon after, the Old God Child will be ten maybe eleven by the time/after we take up Hawke's quest. Guys, we haven't even skimmed all of Thedas, and I would rather see what new character lie in wait ahead. I don't want to go back to something that has already come to pass.

As been established, they are still going to cook up DLC for Origins, which makes me think that the dark ritual will be adressed in an upcoming DLC/expansion (remember the Feb. 2011 date), or it will not be adressed at all. Because of the fact that the game takes place in the Free Marshes, I doubt we will be hearing about Morrigan since she specifically takes the Old God Child to:

*SPOILERS*

the Frostback Mountains, which is nearer to Orlais. If the Dark Ritual is not done, then she goes to Orlais. Both of those places are really far from the Free Marshes, so I wonder how she will get there by the time the story takes place. On another note, Elves and Human mating creates a Human baby; although, I don't know what Dwarfs and Human mating creates--maybe human...

Yes it appears that Hawke isn't Morrigan's child which is a complete pitty as there was a lot of epic potential there. But she may make an appearence is DA2 nonetheless. Hawke is supposed to be the most powerful character that ever lived in the DA universe so I doubt that someone like Morrigan will be able to resist the temptation to manipulate someone like him. As for where she went there is no description as to how long she stayed in either of those places so the argument "it can't be because she went over to that other place" is pointless.
