Its an fun and intresting feature. However I am just as happy with a high quality game taking place somewhere else in Thedas where they have not even heard of my warden.

It looks like we're not getting an importer, and I'm pleased with that. ME2 suffered from a few problems, but one of the larger ones was the way it handled your decisions. With an e-mail and improbable meet-and-greet. Seriously, the galaxy's a huge place. Why am I running into all the same people? The ramifications of your decisions felt bigger when you didn't know the full consequences, but seeing the negligible effect they had on the sequel was disappointing.
Now, by moving DA's story to a new land, you can get away with not having to reveal too much about what happened in the previous game. That way you don't have to destroy choices that gamers made with a hard canon. Obviously some choices will need to be canonized (the ending, for instance), but things like the Warden's race and origin could probably be left murky. This way you don't alienate players, but you can focus on a deeper, more meaningful story in the sequel without having to cater to every minute choice each gamer may have made.

Uhh... importing is in, and necroing is bad. And if you don't have your own file, you have three options to choose from.

What did my action in Mass Effect matter? I could not tell. Cause the only real thing Mass Effect 2 game me from importanting my game was the abilty to shoot Conrad Verner. Everyone was so happy that I did shoot him even if it was in the foot. That they gave me 10% off Illium's gun shop. I think BW got alot of flak from Mass Effect 2 lame import that they have to make importing more important. They dropped a hint in one of their videos that there will be a bonus dragon fight if you did not kill the Andraste High Dragon live from DAO.
