Can you give us some idea of the broad impact on builders who are currently making content for DAO?
For example, will standalone adventures made for DAO run under DA2, with the possibility of using additional DA2 features eventually?

was just about to post something very similar. how portable will our mods be? will DA assets be available to DA2 players (im thinking of levels built for DA, using DA models)? will "external" file formats be the same (models, materials, 2das)? will there be any method of builder-to-builder transition between DA Toolset and DA2 toolset?
The sooner these questions can be answered, the better, but I understand this is still early days yet. Perhaps you can give us a general idea of your aim for portability? Is it something you've been considering in the DA2 making process?
Many thanks

Yes, I too would like to know about this. I'm currently creating an entire series of games, and yes, I know I could stay with DA1, but man oh man, if I see something I like in DA2, I'm going to be tempted to jump ship. I guess knowing the release date makes a big difference here, but the other questions mentioned in this thread are important as well.
