As I always ask when it's an EA game sequel...

Like EA did NOT do with any game of theirs that I am aware and own. What EA did with LotR:Battle for Middle Earth 1, 2 and The Rise of the Witch King Expansion was something worthy of a law suit. If only they were based in my country where consumer laws are very serious...
They left a broken patch to the original, released a even more bugged sequel and then an expansion to the sequel that never fixed anything...
Why does that sound like what they are doing now? PLEASE do different, EA. Don't do an EA again!

we need at least one more expansion and a DLC or two.
Yeah, whereas DLC not the same as Expansion. Even if a bit pricy like Awakening, I hope something much bigger than a DLC. I mean, come on, Awakening is cool and all but it is far of a real Expansion suitable of the name and of the Dragon Age epicness. It's more like a larger DLC with the price of a game! heh

Just one more DLC to explain the backstory would be fine enough.
Loghain, Zevran, Sten, Oghren!!!!!, Morrigan ... they all would have great back stories DLC if BW wished to do them. Wynne and Alistair I'm not so sure. Perhaps Sten not that much either. But the others... I'd kill to play those... in a manner of speaking of course.

I think it's pretty clear that I'm a proponent of DA2 (the franchise, BioWare, etc.), but there are many bugs that still exist that require (quite literally) changing a single float value. In this regard, I guess I'm with the doomsayers in believing that Origins will never be adequately patched, especially not before DA2.Chris Priestly wrote...
We still have patching and DLC planned for DA:O before the launch of DA2. Stay tuned.

"Release now, patch later", doesn't work if the patches either don't come or take forever coming out.

Backstory/transition to DA2? I could go for that.

Let's hope. You can't keep relying on the modders to fix all your damn mistakes for you like they've been doing...Chris Priestly wrote...

Vigilance and Sentinel will not be fixed.
There's a mod for that though. Sentinel makes me feel like Darth Vader, which is very cool.

You should stop being so anti-EA. I know that they sucked around the times of Battle for Middle-Earth, but they have improved vastly since then. EA is actually a really great publisher nowadays. They new evil empire is Activision.
