Edit : Has anyone else looked at the second picture? That is a BADASS bridge, considering the technology that the Thedas is supposed to have (Medieval level tech I mean, or perhaps Rennaisance?) But that's just me linking back to the real world which has nothing to do with Dragon Age. Perhaps they built it with magic? But the Chantry would frown on that...

Btw has it already been stated how long after the DAO this games takes place? Bc Hawke could be as well a child during the Blight so he could be around 20 when we start a game, then 10 years. So connection for Morrigan's child is likely.

I don't know, maybe it's Flemeth. Maybe it's a darkspawn. Maybe it's a dragon. Maybe it's Leliana? Probably not.

Who said it has to be female? Maybe she/he is both male and female. A romance option? She could cover so many different areas that they only need one romance option to satisfy everyone! She can be dominant, submissive, evil, good... all depending on her/his(?) whim.



Has there ever been a divine romance option in a game like this? Would Bioware be treading bold new territory? More importantly, would it be deviant and scandalous enough to garner mainstream news coverage?

Well,depending on how much does the game actually rely on the choices you made on the first one(if he does'nt,that's stupid),and execpt if something strange occurs,this character is likely to be related to morrigan.



Leliana can't have changed that much,wynne is way to old and dying(and she should be left dead,she has already done a lot,would be great if we could see her one last time tought),anora does'nt know how to fight,and Andraste has been reduced to the state of medical traitement.What i mean is that unless something like dragon/demon possession occurs on one of thoses characters,there is no way this could be right.



That leaves us with 4 options,either it's morrigan,but in that cases we should have and explanation on how she gained thoses powers(because this character looks obliviously stronger than her),either it's Flemeth,who may or might have not died in the first one.in any case,it's seems easy to bring her back,given the fact that she can go from one body to another,and given the fact that she was never stated "dead".Third option,morrigan daughter.This can be done fairly easily,you just have to say that she cheated you with any gray warden available,and that is the daughter of morigan and this gray warden(yeah i know there is cinematic that tells you that alistar refused to sleep with her,but morigan can be very persuading).

Last option,she is the daughter of the pc with any other romance avaible in the game.

Shocked? Well, I can say what won't shock me: if it's Morrigan's daughter, reborn Flemeth or Morrigan. These 3 are obvious variants that won't surprise anyone. In fact, the second and the third options are boring.

As for shocked, well if it'll appear to by Wynne, Shale or Mother from Awakening. Mother survived and got much slimmer... Now THAT will be a shock, yes.

You know, what if it's the Maker? Imagine... She is female. And the real story is as follows: in the beginning there was only one race with extreme magical powers. So the Maker decided that it was too much power for mortals and removed some genetic factor... Without it, depending on how much of this factor was removed, the first race turned into elves, humans, dwarfs and qunari. At some point Maker desided that it was a mistake and tried to add the removed genetic factor back... But it didn't work as intended and caused mutation. So this factor is known as "taint" now. And now Maker is back and she's going to make all creatures darkspawn and then try to abort the mutation and bring the first race back.
You see resemblance with Mass Effect and Reapers? Well, Reapers didn't try to recreate some firstborn race, but still. Now my suggestion here is shocking, no?
