Plot structure-wise, I think DA2 will be like 3 ME games in 1

The time span will be a decade according to the official site and our choices is going to affect the world.
It gives me the following image:

DA2 will have like 3 chapters. In chapter 1, you do things and make choices, and the game will eventually lead you into the chapter conclusion, which is kind of fixed. In the beginning of chapter 2, you'll learn that it is already 3 years after, and the consquence of choices you made in chapter 1 comes back to you. And as you finished chapter 2 with a kind of fixed conclusion, you'll find in chapter 3 what the choices in chapter 1/2 will finally cause after another 3 years.

It will be like the ME series, just each game of ME is actually a chapter in DA2.
Well... it is just my gut feeling, but  I do think it will be quite neet if they go this way.

That could be a good idea.

Maybe if they do have a predetermined character the game will have more content too.

See I got more of a Fable 2, or classic rpg feel.

Act 1 you escape your village, lose some family, almost die/seriously injured

Transition involves you training with either mysterious mentor/academy

Act 2 you seek vengance and understanding

Transition you find the true evil hiding behind your village's desctruction

Act 3 you destroy said evil.

At least that's my two cents.

Another thing too, the info said that the game spans over a decade!

So how close was this OP?  I wonder if he was thinking that the game would run about a hundred hours or more for the first play through?
