Id think this would be one of the first things they would mention when announcing the game. So since they didn't say anything about save file transfers, I'm assuming no.

Possibly, They could announce it later though. They did that with the expansion.

Seeing that on the DA2 website it states 'You are one of the few who escaped the destruction of your home. Now, forced to fight for survival in an ever-changing world, you must gather the deadliest of allies, amass fame and fortune, and seal your place in history.' and 'Embark upon an all-new adventure that takes place across an entire decade and shapes itself around every decision you make.'



I will take it as no, there is no reason to pull saved data as it is a completely new story, separate from Origins. I am sure that as soon as the big info dump happens, we will all know some of these questions
