Such a shame they've actually retconned the other three endings in favor of the DR one getting canonized. Way to take the "choice" out of the game.

I think I was the first to point out that this person is Morrigan herself

What makes you think that's concept art of Morrigan?
Older. Grey haired. Yellow eyes. Appears to be a shapeshifter with a draconic leaning.
Most likely Morrigan, since it seems the game doesn't take place THAT long after DA1 - it doesn't take place 50 years later for that to be the OGB already old and account for the grey hair. More like 20-30 years later, meaning Morrigan FITS RIGHT IN.
Which also means Hawke is probably the OGB. 'survivor of the blight' indeed! Yep... his soul survived... rofl, I just see Bioware doing a play on words like that.
And Hawke being the OGB would preclude Morrigan from being a romance option again. First off, people who romanced her with their Warden would be pissed. Second, a lot of people hate her.
So it makes even more sense.

Wouldn't it make more sense if that was her daugther? After all human children inherit the features of their parents. Along with her being an old god that would perfectly explain her weird dragon arm.leonia42 wrote...
I'm leaning towards it being Morrigan as well. The face in particular just really pops out as being hers.

I think they're referencing that she might put her soul in her daughter like Flemmeth before her.

As I said somewhere else, Hawke could pass for a Cousland. Make of that what you will....

Not really. Game doesn't look like it takes place THAT much after DA1... 20-30 years, so the grey hair makes no sense. This isn't an anime where everyone has grey hair, after all.
Looks like Morrigan to me. Probably going by a different name to keep us guessing, but the devs SAID we'd see Morrigan again... so why not??
Hawke could be a Cousland. Or he could be Alistair's. Or he could be Loghain's. He's got the right features - HAS to be Human, can kick serious ass, is a natural leader, can lead armies.
Yep, he looks like the OGB to me.

The white hair though make me lean towards it being someone older. But I could be wrongThere's a real Flemeth/Morrigan vibe though, especially if you look at the image on the Dragon Age 2 site, where have we seen such yellow eyes before?
It doesn't look like OLD white hair, though. It looks like COOL white hair. Big difference.

She does not look young. She actually looks like Wynne. She has Yellow eyes.
I'm saying it's Morrigan.
And Hawke... OGB. The more I think about it the more sense it makes.

So, what you're saying is that the Game Informer cover art depicts Hawke killing things in front of his mother?

The younger Cousland killed people in front of his mommy.
