Thank goodness, I had a lingering fear that they would give a bunch of interns the helm to DA 2.

That thought aside, can the writers please give us a hint as to whether we're stuck with a predefined character in DA 2? I'm not so crazy about this concept of "Hawke" which is mentioned on the DA 2 website. That notion alone led me to the intern theory for the writing department. Thanks!

Are Leliana and Morrigan's writers still writing them?

Well, good to hear the gang's back together. All done with your TOR stint, Mary?

Yup! I am, officially, back from outer space.

GAH! Now that song is stuck in my head!

Fantastic job writing DA:O :)

Heres some hopefully constructive criticism:

Please create more in-depth and memorable villains that we will love to hate this time around! And more underbosses with personalities and dialogue.

I am very skeptical that you writers will be able to write something to top "if you lift your leg to me dog, I will end you" or "I thought you were being attacked by a wild animal, but that was just your hair". If you do so, I will write many songs in your honor.

Hey Mike. I don't know how early into the design phase you are, but if this is something you can talk about, I'd just like to ask you: dialogue wheel - yay or nay?

And will Persuade options work like they did in DA:O, or will they be the alignment-based IWIN buttons that they were in Mass Effect 2?

Awesome news, indeed!  I really love the codex... A treat for my poetic soul!  And please, simply add a bit more heart to emotionally driven quests and  romantically inspired lines.

Well, it's incredibly awesome to see Gaider reading these forums and posting here.

Come to think of it, if people who created DAO and DA:A are working on DA2, all those fears about game being ruined and dumber down are nothing but useless speculation. DAO was awesome, DAA was awesome as well, there is no reason why DA2 won't be even better.

I just don't like how we get these random separate facts about the game - imagine if you were told about DAO: you can't swing your sword, your character does that automatically. It's in game, it's ok yet it sounds bad.

I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but I'm pretty sure at least 90% of the DA2 team are people who shipped DA:O. I'd like to think that's because the team is excited about DA2; nothing makes a better game than a passionate team.

Image IPBImage IPBI'm glad you folks are passionate; it makes me feel really good about your games. So many games can feel liek they were just slapped together without much thought.  Keep up the good work, and thanks for all of the excellent games so far! :)

That, and consistency. And I love how the team that worked on the first game is working on the second, because you guys know the material, and know what to do to make it the best game it could be.

Good, without the original writers it would be as if the third Lord of the Rings wasn't written by Tokin

Like DAO and the Stolen Throne, will we have the possibility to read a novel as a prequel to this new story?

I asked Mr. Gaider via PM a few days ago.

He dodged the question(as expected) but did say he was glad I was hoping more was on the way.
