It would be very cool if our actions in the DLC and expansions were referenced and/or affected the story in Dragon Age 2.

I would like to know th extent of this, as I would have to play through Awakening twice more if I wanted all of my Wardens to have a complete reference file for DA2. Not that I don't love Awakening, but that would take a while. It would also be something like another 30 hours on top of the several hundred I already have across all playthroughs.

Yes, I need a job.

I would say there is a fair chance Awakening may have some effect on the story. That was an official expansion and $40 goddamn dollars.

I don't think the DLC will though... not that I can really think of anything the DLC could really effect.

At $40.00 Awakening was still more worth the price then Leliannas Song at $7.50 for a couple hours of DLC!

I hope more expansions come out for DA:O cause im done with Bioware DLC.
To little material and to costly for what you getting.

Still the main games the best deal!

DA:O = 40 hours times 7 replays for $70.00
Awakenings = 20 hours times maybe 3 replays for $40.00
Leliannas Song = 2.5 hours times no replays for $7.50

Seems the smaller the project, the costlier it is to the consumer!
NO THANKS!

Using Biowares DLC cost platform, a 25 hour game would cost $75.00 and a 40 hours game would cost a wooping $120.00.

Hey I never said it wasn't worth the $$$. 40 bucks is just allot to a broke college student like myself ;) . I'd like to see my cash and effort have some effect in DA2. Kinda like having my cake and eating it to!

That said... technically

If you bought DA:O for PC you sure as hell didn't pay $70.00. I bought it on the first day, and I'm pretty sure it was only $50.

"The Calling" - like a cheap 1980's coin-op, survive wave after wave of darkspawn attackers as you navigate the Deep Roads. Your goal is to clear as many waves of darkspawn until the Warden is overwhelmed by the attackers and dies.

Your journey ends...

I think that would be kind of fun, actually.
