Principa, buddy, who someone ends up living with or marriyng does not decide their sexuality. Simple as that. A bisexual man might marry a woman but still be attracted to both men and women. How hard is it to understand that?

No a man that marries a woman he's honestly attracted to is straight, full stop, do not pass go, do not collect $200; unless she's a beard you're not gay or "bisexual".

**** it. I give up.

Seriously Principia, marriage does not determine sexuality, a person can marry straight and divorce then marry lesbian/gay whatever, does it really matter?

No they don't

People who are bisexual have as much choice in their sexual orientation as anyone else. That is - none.

If they existed they might but seeing as how they don't...

I dont know what perceptions these are, but cant you see that your perception of bisexuals is just as erroneous?

The perception is that being gay is a choice and these so-called "bisexuals" perpetuate that by always setting down into nice heteronormative relationships.

So I should be polyamorous because I'm attracted to both genders?

I hardly see how being in a relationship with a man negates me being bisexual. A relationship doesn't stop you from finding other people attractive.

I have every right to choose whatever lifestyle I want in the future. Whether I choose to spend it with a man or a woman is none of your business. Nor does having a monogamous relationship make anyone's claim less real. I didn't claim it for attention. I haven't been going around hitting on both men and women in the forum to point it out. I have every right to be attracted to whoever I am, and every right to be in whatever kind of relationship myself and my partner agree on.

So I was right, I thought so, but see this is a discussion of same sex relationships so maybe you and the other breeders could let the real gays talk about it?

So someones sexual orientation is dictated by the last person they had sex with is it?

What about a guy who is attracted to guys but hasnt had sex yet, what is he in your pathetically deluded little universe?

Hate speech is when you start targetting a person for whatever reason, sexuality as a sensitive topic and is best not to dwell on there especially not in a debate/argument, but apprently you keep on putting one down, we the rest retaliate by a defending position.

If you can't accept a sexuality to be true, then fine be ignorant, but don't spam your hate all over the forums

Wait.... what?!!?Posted ImagePosted Image

Hate is hate genius. I'm a white dude, but that doesn't stop me from making hateful remarks about white people, or guys, or black/asian/women/monkeys/etc.

Principia, I'll bite.... exactly what do you mean when you say "straight?" It isn't what the rest of the world means by the word, but you already knew that.

I agree with Principia on the points about lame excuses that certain writers have - it's their (his) profession after all.

I wouldn't go so far and say that bisexuality doesn't exist - but it's true that a lot of women (attention hores especially) proclaim themselves bisexual, desperately trying to attract a little bit more attention. They often fail to do so, though.

I have a straight friend who just wasn't into the male personalities available in Dragon Age, so she went with Leliana instead. She liked them, she just couldn't see them as being people her character would fall for. Even though she's not into women in real life, it didn't bother her in the least in a game.

I myself am straight, but whenever I feel so inclined, I play a gay character. I find it interesting. I don't see a reason not to do so and in fact helps me feel my characters are distinct based on their idea of what is attractive to them. I hope that DA2 will continue the sort of tradition that the first game had in this regard. Bisexual characters are nice to have around, for so many reasons.

Besides, Zevran mansex got DA noticed and was featured on Jimmy Kimmel. Sure, not for the most awesome of reasons--but there's no such thing as bad publicity, right? I bet there were a number of people who immediately either (a) giggled or (B) felt immediate curiosity or © went "WOOT! Finally!!!" and made a beeline for their local game store after that aired.

C'mon, DA2. ME2 let fans down big time in this regard. Don't ditch the good thing you started. In all seriousness, we all know how good it feels to have a character of your orientation and preferred gender get close to your PC... every DA2 player deserves that chance. I hope you're planning to uphold the standard you set the first time around. I for one will be very glad if you do.

because it's hateful, bigoted, and unacceptable in civilized conversation.
end of discussion from me.

Anyway. Oh Gaideeeer...
These first teeny tiny screenshots seem to show something on the ground in front of the not-purple-ogre that looks an awful lot like a knocked out companion to me.
soooo. I'm calling that CONFIRMED! in your face!
Now howzabout that yay or nay? eh? eeeeeh? -elbow nudge- ;)

Oh, come on, you're always "biting" (or barking if you wish).. whenerever possible. You just can't wait to analyze someone/something and start a debate, don't you? :P You're just like those bisexual attention hores. :wizard:

Hey, I'm just doing my bit as a Defender of the English Language here.

But yeah I'll pour some more gas on this after that, if the mods don't wake up and lock this mess first

A mod woke up and is locking this mess. The OP's question was more or less answered and this thread is diving headlong into a discouraging direction.

Alright, but let's get back to the topic and leave the English debates for another time.

I don't know about you guys, but I was thinking something.. Does it matter how attractive is the guy who writes the romance?
Isn't it hotter when you know that the guy who wrote the guy you're romancing is very attractive, muscular, sporty.. I kinda find the romance to be more appealing as a whole then. 'Cause, you know, you're technically romancing the writer's brain (product).
