To avoid looking like a hypocrite, I'll say that I'm not excited about Dragon Age II based on the information available (because there is NONE, more or less), but rather because Bioware is a world-class developer of RPGs and they have never let me down.


So, what say you?

Could not have said it better my self. I trust Bioware. They make my favorite games and are one of my favorite dev's.

Made the attempt to start a similar Thread, but not at all surprising it got swallowed fairly quickly. Needless to say, I'm in Full Support of Both Dragon Age 2 and those Excited about the new direction the series appear to be taking, though nothing has been confirmed or shown in Detail yet. As I mentioned in my Thread attempt, I think the best thing we can do is wait for more details in the coming Months (The Game Informer Article will be a good start) and in the meantime give Chris, David and the other Writers as well as the Devs all the support we can as I'm sure it's there intention to give us an Amazing Sequel. Cheers!

Do I have expectations based on what came before?

I most certainly do and how Bioware handles that will have a large impact on what my final impression of DA2 will be.

It's probably like the design of Sheploo, or the standard male Warden used in the DA marketing.  It's awfully specific, deliberate, and detailed, but we're by no means locked into it.  I hope.  Otherwise I might just join the ranks of the folks screaming that Dragon Age is ZOMG RUINED 4EVA
