I'd say Leliana, but since my Warden is not returning, It wouldn't make much sense for Lel to be wandering alone. Unless Bioware can give a VERY plausible explanation for that.

Don`t think too many of the characters will return. Its a new story, set in a different area, isn`t it? Story spans over 10 years too. I guess the characters will be getting older and older in it. Tough luck for Wynne, i would say . I would like to see them all though, but I suspect just Morrigan and Shale might make appearances in it.

Y'know at this point I think old companions returning is some strange foreign idea that will never happen because so much else with the game is changing.

Fair enough.  I would like to see some cameos or mentions, though.  Especially of Sandal and his father.  Getting stuff enchanted any other way just doesn't feel right
