Old playable characters won't be playable, but if they were....Alistar of course. And the dwarf rogue from Awakening (she was tight but I can't remember her name).



I also want the dwarf girl at the mage tower to suddenly have the ability to use magic and join my party

Shale in dwarf form would make a great companion. An older Leliana could be a lot of fun in a cameo as would Sten and Zevran. It's pretty obvious that Morrigan will show one way or another. Nathaniel came from the Free Marches so it's possible that he might return one day. I'd love for Sigrun to show (best dwarf character ever) but her story makes that somewhat unlikely.



The only way I'd ever want to see Wynne and Velanna is if we see them both at the same time locked in an epic catfight over the prone body of Oghren.

Morrigan cause she kinda has a really important role at the of of DA:O; I wouldn't mind seeing Alistair at some point too. Other than that, new characters all around. I could see a few Antivans showing up too since Antiva is right next to the Marshes...though I didn't care for Zevran.

I don't think it would make sense for any of them to return save for Leliana at the beginning of the game when your in Lothering ( that is, if that's how the game starts).

After that part it seems to me that your in a totally different land, so why would you run into any of the characters from the previous games? I guess you could make an argument for a cameo here and there, but really from what I've seen and heard about DA:2 it doesn't make sense for the most part.

We know that Alistair will be there in some capacity, but we don't know how prominently featured he'll be--less than in Origins, though. I've heard that Nathaniel will appear, but I don't know if it's anything that has actually been confirmed. I've seen no developer or actor quote that does so.

I want Allistair, Sandel, Sten, Oghren to return.

I dont care how long or how short they are in but Bioware should put them in because they are so iconic, lovable and could be useful to the plot. I mean cmon if my Warden showed that humans are awesome shouldnt Sten have some say in Qunari invasion?

Sandel can always do the enchantment.

Allistair should be a brief cameo, whether drunk, king or married to my Fem Cousland Warden.

Oghren can still write letters to Felsei while still being where the fight is. And tell of how awesome the Warden was to you.

I romanced Zevren so I wanna see him again in part 2. But seeing as how part 2 is shorter than Dragon Age 1 it's gonna be impossible to see all 3 of these characters again!!!
