Ok, no.
Wait.
We can't import our character from DA:O into DAII?
Tell me this isn't true.

Sad but true.

So... yes, it's true. Read it and weep, my friend.

This is a ton of ****, what's the point in the new game, then? Why not call it Dragon Age: Hawke's Adventure? What happened to my Warden?
Godamit, Bioware, what the **** are you doing.

well, it's not a new time to be exact.
it's still in dragon age, so it's in the same 100 year period.
alot of people from the first dragon age are likely still alive and kicking.

Many Wardens probably sacrificed themselves in various player's games. I only had one sacrifice, but it's understandable why they wouldn't carry over the Warden.
Your logic is flawed. They could have done the same thing they did in Mass Effect 2; if your Shepard dies, you can't import him to ME3.

At least I can uninstall Dragon Age now and just wait for Dragon Effect 2.

Bioware didn't seem to care if your warden was dead in awakenings.

Bioware? Little info here? Should we hold onto our saves?
Seriously, usually a single run through is about 1-2 gb. I have 3 DA:O runs and 2 Awakenings, and they're just taking up space if they're not going to be used in DAII

True. I had forgotten about that. You can import a Warden even when they're dead.

Or at least, that's what I hope they'll do. I could totally live with that, and I wouldn't see what the fuzz is all about. In fact, it could be very interesting to have a character rise from a nobody to a champion all again, with his all new set of allies and all new opportunities for romance. I trust Bioware enough to believe they'd do an all new cast I would immensely enjoy, just like with Origins.
