Monstruo696 Will you stop whining so much?
Dragon Age 2 will import the save game of Dragon Age 1, this is confirmed time and time again in interviews on G4TV.com and other gamer web sites. Multiple interviews with many people working on the project and more. You're complaining and not even watching the interviews about features.
I am very attached to my warden and Bioware has never failed to let you import what mattered into a save game, ever. With their new software they can probably just pull your save game right out of the bioware folder it's saved too without forcing you to manually sync them up.
I'm guessing that either it will be in the full game as something you can do from the start, or a little bit later. Like when the dwarf started telling a tall tale and then after playing a quick combat tutorial getting the actual CC screen.
I am quite interested myself in more exact details about how my save game is imported. But your whining serves no purpose. If I was Bioware staff or any of the moderators or anyone with the information I wouldn't care if you knew. You're complaining, talking about throwing away years of work on facts they've already confirmed in multiple interviews and what not.
So if you want to know how save games work I will tell you to go look it up. Maybe someone from the company will have been authorized to release exact details by now.
On one guide I read it said to make an Origin's Playthrough, then import it into awakening, then Golems of Argawakawawoowhatever and then Witch hunt for a perfect streamed save.
Personally with the combat, spell and ability styles and exactly what you are importing Starting Dragon Age 2 with the power you had at the end of Origins and Awakening would make your character OP starting out. A lot of Dragon age 2 however is gonna have Hawke dealing with fallout of Dragon Age 1 and what your warden did.
Go to Dragonage.com to the gallery. Watch the Making of 1 and 2 videos. They talk about Origins effect on DA2. Go to g4tv.com and type in Dragon Age 2 in the search box and watch their vids. It will answer all of the questions...
or you could whine and hope someone in Bioware bends to whining.
